Really cute patterns, they would take a lot of yarn but I can't wait to try out some of the scarves and the blanket jacket!

Recommends it for: Judy!
Oh, comfort knitting- I think it might be better than comfort food. This book makes me want to rent a cottage in Manzanita and knit, knit, knit. The seed stitch jacket, the fair isle stripe throw, the tie shrug, the textured scarf, the patchwork throw. Yes, please.

This is a charming book of 18 patterns. The patterns are rustic and homey. There is a repeating fair isle pattern that shows up in many of the patterns. There are pillows, scarves, socks, some great sweaters, and an afghan.

Love this book. It's not often I find a pattern book that I love all the patterns, but this one has it all.

I'll be looking out for more from this Author!

This book exculsively uses Rowan Tweed yarns. That's not bad, but worth mentioning, I think.
