A fantastic book that goes more in depth for many of the Smithsonian museums. If you plan on visiting DC and want to visit the Mall then do yourself a favor and pick this guide up. Great comprehensive, picturesque book showing you what's in the Smithsonian museums. I read it before I visited the museums to choose which ones I'd like best and it showed a few hidden treasures that helped make my decision easier. I also noticed that it was sold in the gift shops at most of the museums. It could be a great souvenir of your visits.
