Painting the Perfect Picture is packed with drama on top of drama. Mutima takes off running with this story right out the gate. I felt there were too many characters in the story. I found myself flipping back to refresh my memory about a particular character. But, I applaud Mutima because she was able to tell a great story with so many characters.
