I love this book because it taugh me so much about our planet for examlpe on page 25 dead sea:the dead sea isn't a sea but an extremely slaty, low-lying lake between the hot desert land of israel and jordan.it's called the dead sea because it's so salty that wildlife can't live in it.it's awesomely weird in many ways.another examlpe is on page 38 yello stone: one of the biggest volcanoes in the world isn't a mountain it's a wide, flat bowl shape,or caldera.it's the yello stone caldera in utah.

This book doesn't have a plot as it is a pretty much a summary that explains about certain things that are awesome. The book rates how awesome each of the things that they have put are with epic faces(if you don't know, an epic face looks like the picture in this link http://www.google.ca/imgres?num=10&am...) and they rate it from one epic face-5 epic faces and give brief descriptions about the awesome things and why it's so awesome. For example, one of the awesome things in the book was a rock...more

I think that this book was very good. It tells you some of the most awesome things in the world. Also, it gives you a rating of how awesome it is. This book gives you good information about some places in the book. One of my favorite parts in the book is Glowworm Cave. It is one of my favorite places because Since the cave is dark and the worms light up, it looks like stars.

This book is about awesome creatures and awesome human-made structures. One of the records is the tower of Dubai which is a skyscraper where people work, it is 2,645 high in feet. Two people jumped off the building in 2010 right when it opened. They got arrested because the weren't allows to jump off. They're are 104 floors and the people jumped off the 95 floor. A.

A nice enough little booklet for kids, kind of a "cliff notes" of natural and man made marvels.

I use this with my articulation students who are working on their speech sounds in reading and conversation. It's interesting, short enough that kids don't feel like they're reading forever and best of all: Educational.
