Grace has landed in New York City, where she loves being onstage again, particularly because she’s playing a fabulous character in a musical written by her old college flame, Michael. Their rekindled friendship makes exploring the ...more

I have no time for a lengthy review. I just want to say that I liked this book/series SO MUCH MORE than I thought I would. I was not a huge fan of Wallbanger. It was okay, but the sexy times were too PG and too long in coming, and I just didn't connect all that much. This book was totally opposite. I loved these two so freaking much!!! From their first meeting when Grace spits her crackers all over the place while laughing, her ability to poke fun at herself and her humility endeared me to her. ...more

Smiling is good. Laughing is great. Add in some sexy time and it gets even better.

3.5 stars. Alice Clayton excels at entertaining a reader. The Redhead series might not be the most polished set of books I've ever experienced, but sometimes entertainment trumps flair...especially when you're in need of a pick-me-up. Her books read like a cross between a riotously funny chick lit and an extremely sexy contemporary romance.

This second installment reminded me vaguely of the book Effortless, except t

I LOVED The Unidentified Redhead so much that I immediately purchased The Redhead Revealed and read it. It was still funny and sexy and all those other words I used yesterday but if The Unidentified Redhead and The Redhead Revealed were twins, The Redhead Revealed would be the more dramatic, angst causing one!

The Redhead Revealed was everything The Unidentified Redhead was and so much more! Clayton demonstrated that she can go beyond the funny banter and sexy relations in The Unidentified Redhea

More Grace & Jack = WIN!

Redhead Revealed begins right where Unidentified Redhead leaves off, with Grace in NYC starting her musical and with Jack still in LA. They are doing the long distance thing, trying to make it work, but also missing each other terribly.
”I just miss you. I miss being in your bed,” he said quietly, and I could hear the desperation in his voice. I felt it too. It was not just the physical love he gave me, but the simple touches we took for granted when we saw each ot

I love you Alice Clayton.... you NEVER ever fail to disappoint!!!

"Twenty-four year olds were my new favorite thing. I needed to tell Oprah to put them on her list".

I thought I loved Wallbanger but "this" right here is without a doubt on of my favorite series EVER!!!!!

So, after I consumed The Unidentified Redhead with ab-killing laughs and some serious hot flashes (of a different nature), there was no way that I could stop myself from moving right on to The Redhead Revealed. I finished this one for the first time 2 days ago and I'll be completely honest...I had to go back and read again immediately it was THAT good! Not only does Ms. Clayton have the uncanny ability to make me laugh, snort, and giggle with the written word but, her ability to make Grace and J ...more

2.5 STARS

I have a confession to make. I wasn't overly impressed with book #1 - The Unidentified Redhead - but I was curious enough to pick this sequel up and see what would happen.

I really liked that there was more drama in this book than in previous instalment. But I was annoyed with Grace, her self-conciousness and immaturity. Also, I was a little bit discouraged by almost-love-triangle thing that developped in this book.

This series is considered to be funny. I admit, some pa

I read The Unidentified Redhead (Redhead #1) a couple of weeks ago and absolutely LOVED it. It made me so happy when I read it, that I dreaded not having another book by Alice Clayton to look forward to. So I decided to have a little self control and wait till I need a happy-making book to read #2. I knew when the PMS rolled around I’d be ready, and I was right.

So I bought The Redhead Revealed (Redhead #2) by Alice Clayton. Immediate

I AM IN LOVE. SO IN LOVE. You see, if there's one thing that I love more than a steamy romantic story, it is a steamy romantic story that makes me laugh out loud. A book that makes me giggle, repeat the dialogue to my husband to prove to him how fantastic it truly is, a book that reminds me that the very best love story is one that is built around love and laughter.

I needed the Redhead Series, so badly. I had come off some truly wonderful books, but they were emotionally draining. I swear, if I

With both their careers growing at opposite ends of the country, Jack's huge Hollywood movie premiering in LA and Grace's Broadway show in NYC, they have to deal with making a long-distance relationship work, with learning to trust each other, with only seeing each other every couple weeks/months, with Jack's growing fame and intense media scrutiny, with nosy and lying tabloids, with with the general insecuritie

I went straight from Redhead #1 to Redhead #2..I am completely addicted to Crazy Nut Gracie and Sweet Nuts George and I had to have more!!!

Alice Clayton is FAB-U-LUSH she has a fab writing style that effortlessly flows and captures the emotions and depth of her characters!! I am hooked!! Right enough "schmaltz"....;0) LOL.

Again, this story was pure class of a slightly different variety. Still full of hilarious one liners and witty sexual innuendos (YAY), still very very sexy and HOT (double YAY)

Once again we're thrown in the mix of Grace and Jack's world. Full of fun, chaotic, nutty, smutty, sad, insanely funny,and....hmmmm...I know I mentioned smutty right? Lol! Whatever teasers us readers had in the first book, these characters are on the saddle full throttle, with any chance they get!

With Jack's career booming and becoming a huge star. Grace having her chance to fulfil her dreams since she was a girl. The whole story is crazy emotional, but the characters

Other than the fact that I wanted to slap the crap outta Grace at many points during the book, it was still really good and enjoyed it.

Update as of April 19, 2013. Just want to publicly state that since reading this book (in mid 2011) I have had to make a decision about my personal opinion on pulling fanfiction to publish for money. And I have come down on the side of Not Okay. Hard. This book came out before the Twilight fanfiction fandom exploded with greed.

This practice has broken the fandom in two, and it has broken long-standing friendships into pieces.
I will not change my original review, because I *did* feel all those

I have no one but myself to blame for this, because I didn't enjoy the first book, The Unidentified Redhead, much. But, I read and enjoyed Wallbanger, so I gave it a chance. That was mistake #1.

Mistake #2 was actually finishing this book. It was only 234 pages so I thought, no big deal, I can finish it no problem...

About 70% of Redhead Revealed was like this:

After list-guided trips to Target, The Container Store, and Ralph's, I spent the rest of the evening putting stuff away and ar

Alice Clayton has done it again! The Redhead Revealed begins where The Unidentified Redhead left off; Jack in Los Angeles getting ready for the opening night of Time and Grace in New York doing rehearsals for her big stage debut.

I worried about George and Gracie and being apart. They just found one another and admitted they were crazy in love so how could this work. “Long-distance relationships typically work best (if at all) when the couple has been together a lot longer than we had. We went f

I’m pleased to say this series hasn’t lost its momentum and I really enjoyed this second installment.

Grace and Jack try to keep their romantic spark alive while managing a long distance relationship as their careers keep them on separate coasts: Grace in NYC working on an Off-Broadway musical and Jack in Hollywood doing press tours for his new movie. The relationship between Grace and America’s newest heartthrob is still a secret from the public – much to Jack’s displeasure – and as Jack’s po

The Redhead Revealed, the second novel in the Redhead series by Alice Clayton, was another PHENOMENAL novel. I am OBSESSED with this series and the author. I look forward to reading many more novels by her in the future :)

The two main characters, Gracie and George, crack me up and give me the warm fuzzies!!! I don't think I have EVER wanted to be a fictional character as bad as I want to be Grace. You caught me.

WOW!!!! I cannot tell you how much I loved this book!!!!!!! What a great story, and a great series!!! It is an adorable romance between two unlikely people. It is utterly hilarious, sexy, romantic and incredible. The characters were totally lovable, all of them, even the competition. Is it crazy that I find this necklace to be the most perfect gift of all time?

Is it crazy how "That's what she said" might...just... be... the best line ever?

Is it crazy that I want to start calling my husband George? (that's happening, btw)

NOPE, it's not crazy at all!

What's crazy is that I didn't read these books sooner! In them...my British fantasy, comedy that's dare say actually funny, and a love story that's...well...it's the shagtastical dream. And I just fancied the hell out of

Review for Redhead #1 and #2

Cute little reads. I read these because I really liked Alice Clayton's other book, Wallbanger. I find her writing witty and overall good fun. However, I didn't like these as much as good ol' Wallbanger. I felt they could have been combined into one book. The story dragged a bit and often felt a bit repetitive. On that note though, I love Grace and Jack and found them hilarious. However, their awesomeness didn't mean that the same old nick-names and comedic sex scenes

I decided to read the Readhead Revealed immediately after The Unidentified Redhead. It was such a cute and funny read for me! I really loved both Grace and Jack as they embarked on a journey of discovery. My heart went out to Grace as she attempted to deal with her insecurities, whilst trying to deal with the pressures of having a long distance relationship, with an up and coming Hollywood star, who is 9 years her junior… and the media can be cruel indeed.

Jack Hamilton…hmmmm, he was just adorab

Anyway, the story picks where it was left in the Unidentified Redhead, where Grace just arrived in NY city and Jack stayed in LA, both of their careers taking off.

So in one hand we can see how Grace feels fulfilled in her job, she loves and feels a alive onstage. The thing is she loves Jack and misses him.

Well, who wouldn't really?

This book in one word was PERFECT!!
What a great follow up to The Unidentified Redhead.
I love Grace and can totally relate to the woman who let herself go and closed herself off to the world, then taking things into her own hands and getting back into shape.
She is one of the most lovable female characters and all I can say is where can I find a Jack Hamilton (Sweetnuts) of my own?? I loved this book with all it's hilarity, sexiness, and of course, the Schmaltz!
So where's the third installment??!!

Another fun read from the talented Ms Clayton. Lots of humour, lots of love (and lovin’), but also a bit of drama in this one.

I easily fell straight back into the loved-up, crazy world of Grace and Jack, now living on opposite sides of the country in pursuit of their careers, but still madly in love with each other. Like the first book, there’s lots of sex – (phone sex, car sex, bed sex, shower sex… you get the gist), and in the early stages of the book I was actually wondering whether there wa

My review: You know it's funny when you discover a new author...well new to you anyways. Both of Alice Clayton's books, The Unidentified Redhead, and The Redhead Revealed were published in 2010. After reading them I have to ask...Why the hell didn't somebody tell me about how great they were sooner?!?
