Smiling is good. Laughing is great. Add in some sexy time and it gets even better.
3.5 stars. Alice Clayton excels at entertaining a reader. The Redhead series might not be the most polished set of books I've ever experienced, but sometimes entertainment trumps flair...especially when you're in need of a pick-me-up. Her books read like a cross between a riotously funny chick lit and an extremely sexy contemporary romance.

Update as of April 19, 2013. Just want to publicly state that since reading this book (in mid 2011) I have had to make a decision about my personal opinion on pulling fanfiction to publish for money. And I have come down on the side of Not Okay. Hard. This book came out before the Twilight fanfiction fandom exploded with greed.
This practice has broken the fandom in two, and it has broken long-standing friendships into pieces.
I will not change my original review, because I *did* feel all those...more

I LOVED The Unidentified Redhead so much that I immediately purchased The Redhead Revealed and read it. It was still funny and sexy and all those other words I used yesterday but if The Unidentified Redhead and The Redhead Revealed were twins, The Redhead Revealed would be the more dramatic, angst causing one!

So, after I consumed The Unidentified Redhead with ab-killing laughs and some serious hot flashes (of a different nature), there was no way that I could stop myself from moving right on to The Redhead Revealed. I finished this one for the first time 2 days ago and I'll be completely honest...I had to go back and read again immediately it was THAT good! Not only does Ms. Clayton have the uncanny ability to make me laugh, snort, and giggle with the written word but, her ability to make Grace and J...more
Loved this book!
The schmaltz with thick with this one but regardless of the over the top gushiness, Alice Clayton still manages to make me giggle like crazy and want more. There is something to be said about a book that not only gets me HOT and bothered but also makes me laugh until my sides ache. Clayton is capable of bringing her characters to such a real place; as evidenced not only in the first two Redhead books but also in Wallbanger (which is so romantic and funny at the same time). I AM IN LOVE. SO IN LOVE. You see, if there's one thing that I love more than a steamy romantic story, it is a steamy romantic story that makes me laugh out loud. A book that makes me giggle, repeat the dialogue to my husband to prove to him how fantastic it truly is, a book that reminds me that the very best love story is one that is built around love and laughter.

Alice Clayton owes me a box of Kleenex....between the tears of laughter and tears of sadness I felt like I cried through most of this book! I was totally consumed by these two and their wit, charm and love for eachother. Jack is just amazing....he is like the perfect guy and Grace is just a hoot and you love her with her insecurities and all.

Woot! Woot! The Redhead Revealed deserves nothing but the perfect rating. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading the book. The Brit and the Redhead has become much more interesting than ever; filled me with laughs here and there. I really appreciate the plot this time, simple and endearing. Having a long distance relationship has made them love each other more. All the simple touch, kiss, peck and caresses that were taken for granted before, made them desperate right now and that’s where the “phone sex...more
Ah, Jack, Jack, Jack, Jack, Jack... Goodness, the last time I had a thing for a fictional character named Jack, it was Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio) in James Cameron's award-winning movie, "Titanic" (one of my favorite films of all time). Alice Clayton's Jack Hamilton from the Redhead series may only be described in words in the books but those words conjure up one yummy Brit with looks, talent, wit, and sensitivity and you'll have yourself wishing you were a redhead too! ^.^

Another great story by Alice Clayton. The first book I read by this author was Wallbanger and I've been hooked ever since. This is the 3rd book of Alice's that I've not only read but thoroughly enjoyed.
In this 2nd book of the Redhead series, Grace is now in New York with Michael for the play. Grace and Jack's relationship becomes more and more difficult to maintain as they are thousands of miles away with their busy careers. Review for Redhead #1 and #2
Cute little reads. I read these because I really liked Alice Clayton's other book, Wallbanger. I find her writing witty and overall good fun. However, I didn't like these as much as good ol' Wallbanger. I felt they could have been combined into one book. The story dragged a bit and often felt a bit repetitive. On that note though, I love Grace and Jack and found them hilarious. However, their awesomeness didn't mean that the same old nick-names and comedic sex scenes...more

Alice Clayton brings the second installment of a tale told with her magical mix of humor and heat, so cuddle up under the sheets and flip on the Golden Girls. Grace and Jack are at it again.

Grace Sheridan and Jack Hamilton's escapades continue. Grace has moved to New York to begin preparation for her off Broadway Show. The writer is her flame from college Michael. Jack's movie Time is about to release and he's busy travelling the world promoting it. Will they be able to make this long distance, May-December relationship work?

I went straight from Redhead #1 to Redhead #2..I am completely addicted to Crazy Nut Gracie and Sweet Nuts George and I had to have more!!!
Alice Clayton is FAB-U-LUSH she has a fab writing style that effortlessly flows and captures the emotions and depth of her characters!! I am hooked!! Right enough "schmaltz"....;0) LOL.

Another fabulous book by Alice Clayton. I am so in love with Jack and Grace and whilst Simon and Caroline from Wallbanger were my favourite book couple I have to admit Jack and Grace are right there with them.
Spoiler Alert:
Things were far more serious in this book than the first but thats understandable as they had both moved on from the first stages of the romance.

I have no one but myself to blame for this, because I didn't enjoy the first book, The Unidentified Redhead, much. But, I read and enjoyed Wallbanger, so I gave it a chance. That was mistake #1.
Mistake #2 was actually finishing this book. It was only 234 pages so I thought, no big deal, I can finish it no problem...

Yeah, yeah, yeah... Some series just pull you in. This is one of those series for me. Gracie is just quirky enough, klutzy enough, real enough, and messed up enough that I LOVE her! It's tough to admit, but I relate to many things in her life - the struggle with weight and the "fat" mentality... the struggle to decide if your dreams are only dreams or the exact thing that you *need* to pursue to be happy and fulfilled...

This is a series that completely draws you in and keeps you engaged. The side characters are fantastic, the situations that arise are believable and original, the sex….oh my hell….The sex is sweltering hot. And of course as typical Ms. Clayton fashion, there are a million laugh out loud, wipe tears and I admit perhaps a few snort moments entwined throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed this book because it made me laugh in so many parts. It has been a while since I've actually enjoyed a good fun novel. Jack and Grace have this quirkiness that works to their advantage. And their constant bickering and name dropping was too funny.

I was in desperate need for a fun and light read, so what best that the second book in Redhead series?
Yep, i thought so to.

Anyway, the story picks where it was left in the Unidentified Redhead, where Grace just arrived in NY city and Jack stayed in LA, both of their careers taking off.

I found The Redhead Revealed by Alice Clayton better than the first one. This book picks up where The Unidentified Redhead left off. The book opens where each of the main characters are now living on opposite coasts. Grace and Jack's careers have both taken off like you can't imagine! Jack, Grace's favorite Brit is in LA where he is becoming an overnight sensation and she has relocated (supposedly temporary) to NY so she can fulfill her dream to be onstage and in the spotlight.
