Mesmerizing. I found this book outstanding. It explores many of the different ways BDSM relationships can be - and it doesn't judge. The main characters are described as "fluffy" to reflect they don't participate in all aspects of the D/s lifestyle. This book felt honest - like what you'd expect if you got up enough courage to go to a munch yourself. I loved it and highly recommend it. Even though it is labeled erotic and there are erotic scenes this is just not a book I'd read for the erotica - ...more

This was my first book by this author, and I LOVED IT! Great characters, including kids. Even the preschooler had her own personality, and the way the author wove in normal family life with a pretty serious D/s relationship was so enjoyable to read.

I know the story needed some angst, but I didn't particularly enjoy reading about the dark side of BDSM relationships that turn abusive and ugly. But David and Polly showed me what a truly loving and "normal" D/s relationship can look like in and out

I liked the book but certain aspects of the story turned me off. If someone is concerned due to circumstances which caused them pain in the past, I would think that someone would listen them reassuring them if they really love them and not punish them for it. I do not read too many BDSM books but that part of the story really bothered me and detracted me from the storyline.

I did learn a lot about the BDSM community but it would not be a lifestyle choice for me. I read this one as I liked the st

Original Review Published here:

Polly’s husband/Dom of ten years dies after battling a long illness. Mark hand-picked Polly’s next Dom, David. The man who has loved Polly from afar for over ten years. David was willing to uproot his life and move to where Polly lived to help her and to have a chance with her as well. Polly does a good job of balancing life and children with her bedroom activities.

David is a mystery. He came to hel

Very VERY happy with this read! More emotional than sexy BDSM, but sometimes I need that! Podcast review coming soon!

This book was very disappointing. I am so tired of covers that don't match the contents of the book. This is a fun and pretty cover, right? I expected a fun read about a couple that participates in a BDSM lifestyle and that is far from what I got. This was really more about the journey of a woman ans her 2 young children after the man in their life dies. In fact, it has very little to do with the lifestyle.

I thought the journey was sweet, but could have definitely been spiced up...a

I loved this story. David and Polly gave me an opportunity to see the dynamics of a D/s 24/7 lifestyle that I haven't had the pleasure of reading before. How can a man be a gentle giant and a Dom at the same time/ a woman to be a submissive and full time parent. The communication they worked on together showed that it is possible and healthy. It saddened me to read the unsavory treatment of subs in their circle and I'd hoped that those responsible would be taken care of by the law. I loved how P ...more

3.5 stars. Definitely liked this one better than Poppy's Passions. The story had a better flow and both the writing and editing were much improved.

Review copies are out but there are still a few weeks before David's Angel is widely available. I love it so much. The story makes me smile, the sexy parts make me giggle and the whole package is something I'm so happy to have my name on :)
There are parts I really liked and cried, and parts that were just OK. The book is really about the lifestyle when there are kids and death involved. There were very few sex scenes (vanilla or otherwise).

Stephanie Beck is a full time mom, part time writer and ameture speller.

She's been writing since she was fifteen. Her first novel, "Love on the Mats" was a graphic, heartwarming tale of a wrestler and a cutie coed which was lovingly edited by the c-squad basketball team on the long bus rides throughout the season. They were all sure it would be published and it still has a home in a
