I am really excited to have Jill Colonna’s cookbook “Mad about Macarons”. I have tried in the past to make macarons unsuccessfully but I made them yesterday and they were fantastic. If I can make the shell so easily, then I know that the possibilities are endless. I would recommend this book both for experienced macaron makers but also for novice in baking, as well as people like myself who were terrified to make them. If you thought that baking macarons is not possible at home, well, think twice. I got this lovely book from my partner on Christmas and I was very excited about it. It'd been on my wishlist and I'm glad I have it.
