Babyberry Pie
How do you bake a babyberry pie? Pick one wiggly baby from the babyberry tree. Pop him in the tub and scrub clean. Add sugar to his nose and toes. Tuck him into a warm pie crust. And don’t forget a kiss goodnight!
That’s the perfect recipe for a babyberry pie—and a playful, peaceful bedtime. (Just don't let that little giggleberry wiggle away!)

Yummy! Babyberry Pie is an incredibly cute bedtime story. The story is written as a fun, sing-song rhyme. Perfect for parents to read when they are putting their little ones to bed. Oh, and the illustrations are super colorful and have some detail/ but not too much. Perfect!
My favorite page is where they have to “chase that little sillyberry, messyberry one!”
Since I don’t normally review picture books, I decided to get an expert’s opinion. I gave my copy of Babyberry Pie to my neighbor who...more
Pete's a Pizza for babies! This charming rhyming book has loving parents give baby a bath and then turn him into a babyberry pie. "Sugar for his bellybutton! Sugar for his nose! Sugar for his fingertips! And sugar for his toes!" The illustrations are simple and charming, making this a delightful book to read at bedtime. Be sure to have some baby powder (sugar) and plenty of soft, warm quilts (pie crust) available!
My Review: This modern day lullaby plays on words of a "sweet little Berrybaby Pie". This story has the potential to be the next classic lullaby such as “Rock-a-by Baby” or “The Itsy bitsy Spider”. Give your imagination a chance and don’t think too much into the story or the plot. Just recite the cute little verses in rhyme to soothe your little one off to sleep every night. The artwork is charmingly done and endears the story as it goes along. The Berrybaby proves to be rambunctious as are most...more
A fun story about getting a little one ready for bedtime. However, I should note that even though I'm giving this book 3 stars, my two year old would give it 5 all the way. I've been reading this book to her non-stop since we got it from the library, so it's a hit with the intended audience. The rhyming makes it easy to read and the illustrations are cute.
This has a great rhyming rhythm to read out loud very similar to one of our family favorites Jamberry.
My 2.5 yr old is smitten.

Cute book with mom and dad calling their baby, Babyberry and rhyming text that has mom and dad play, wash, tickle, giggle and putting their Babyberry to bed.
A story about getting a baby ready for bed. It compares the process of tucking in a baby to baking a pie. A bit weird and makes my daughter and me think of the Mother Mei Eye episode of Teen Titans.
Perfect little bedtime lilt for the very smallest.
