Lena Grey
In 'Capturing Perfection' Trina Lane leads the reader through the story at a leisurely, but constant pace, revealing just the right amount of information to keep it interesting.

Throughout the story, I was reminded that good relationships don't just happen. Even the best and brightest of unions needs constant vigilance, combined with dedication to remain that way. Clay and Logan didn't give up on each other. They found the courage to overcome the issues standing between them. I appreciated how al

First of all a warning against the warning: while this is book 3 in the Perfect Love series, it’s not really necessary to read it in order to appreciate this novel as standalone; sure, characters from book 1 and 2 are in book 3, and maybe, if you enjoy them, you will like to go back and read their story, but the romance between Clayton and Logan is fully developed in their own story.

Second a very nice surprise: we are dealing with a main character with a disability, he is temporarily deaf, and I
I liked this story about Clay (the detective from His Perfect Partner) and his estranged foster brother Logan. When they were 20, Clay confessed he was gay and Logan ran. 16 years later, Logan is wounded in Afghanistan losing his hearing. Clay takes him in and does his best to help him heal, but Logan is closed off, angry, suffering from PTSD and had lost his lover in the firefight that cost him his hearing. Nice addition to the series. In this one we have friends separated for many years due to being too young to handle their feelings for each other. Years later they reunite and despite trying to still keep their feelings secret they finally admit their love. A bit angsty due to war experiences but overall a nice read.
3.5 stars.

Shame the other books are menages as I was looking forward to Matt and Trevor's story, but I liked this one. Logan's disability added to the plot and Clay was a wonderful partner. Interesting concept of them being foster brothers.
***3.5 Stars
Another great read from this series. Although the stories are short, the author has a way of engaging the reader through her characters. Logan and Clay were always meant to be together.
Good book but I just didn't connect with the characters for some reason.
