I was expecting something really different from what I found in this book. I was expecting lists of places where I could find education online. Instead; I found strategies and hints to use virtual classroom software; and online applications to universities and institutes. It is not that it is not helpful; is that it delivers something entirely different from what it promises in the title.
Basic, but thorough and helpful, especially (as the title indicates) for dummies who don't know squat about taking classes, computers, education, doing assignments. The book might still motivate someone who is hesitant to try online education to do so, especially if she or he is not a dummy. I'm just sayin'.
