This book failed to tell me very much that I didn't already know. (But I know more than the average person about this stuff because I have had chronic sinus problems for a long time). The chapter on alternative therapies was the most helpful. Chronic sinus problems have so many potential causes and influences that treatment ends up being a guessing game of trial and error. I was hoping for a magic cure I wasn't aware of, but I guess I've tried most of the sinusitis tricks - not a lot of "new" information for me, but it's definitely informative for someone who is just entering the sinus arena. I did learn a lot about how the sinuses work, though!
I really like how well this book is organized. There's a lot of helpful information; it's a good reference to have around because it lists the differences and uses of many over-the-counter medicines, which can be confusing. I initially checked this out of the library but will probably purchase a copy.
very honest look at a medical issue
