Great manual for bicyclists in days of yore. Not sure how relevant it is now, but my first Raleigh Grand Prix 10-speed benefitted from my having this book. Very detailed photos which are an aid to mechanical Cretans. But even Cretans can learn, and one does begin to feel a sense of mastery after a few times dismantling a piece of equipment and putting back together. Anybody want a vintage racer? I'll throw in the book.
I will forever be currently reading this book. Don't tout it as outdated. It is a classic approach to do it yourself bicycle repair.
