Recommends it for: those wishing to brush up on US history
I fairly enjoyed this book. It tended to skip about from topic to topic; some in depth, others not so much, a few not at all. As a crash course on United States history it delivered in most areas.
Andrew Sinclair was born in Oxford in 1935 and was educated at Eton and Trinity College, Cambridge. After earning a Ph.D. in American History from Cambridge, he pursued an academic career in the United States and England.
