I won this book from the book giveaways on firstreads. It struck my attention because it was set in New England; an area I am familiar with. I normally wouldn't read a book from this genre however I was really excited to win a copy from the author. (Thank you!) I found this story to be a really pleasant read. I agree with the other poster that said it's not quick. It did take me quite some time to get through it. The story provides a lot of detail and is very thorough. The direction of the characters didn't always go the way I wanted, but hey...you can't always have it your way. All in all, this was a very pleasant story which delive ...more
