Kelly Fox, the teacher of "History of Civilization", the freshman introductory history course at Maine Twp. H.S. South, introduced me to Eastern religions and Asian history. I found it fascinating, thinking Buddhism so much more sensible than the religions I'd been previously exposed to. This, the sixties in general and befriendimg Mike Miley put me on "a journey to the East" which has continued ever since.

الكتاب عن الهند أنثروبولجيا وتاريخيا، يفيد المتخصص والذي يحتمل الكمية الكبيرة والتفصيلات الكثيرة من المعلومات .. درس البنايات والمعابد والكتب القديمة .. وقارن وحلل .. وغاص في نشأة العروق المستوطنة تلك البقعة (الهند) .. الجهد المبذول في الكتاب جبار وعظيم .. وتحليلاته في غاية العمق والخطورة ..

من يريد أن يعرف الهند تاريخا لا واقعا .. لا يستغني عن هذا الكتاب ..
