This is one of the best books I've read in years. It is both parts a horror story, a weird, gothic fairy tale, and a really dark love story. The description is some of the best I've ever read, and I felt like I was walking around in the night with the unnamed narrator as he told me this surreal, depressing and somehow totally realistic story.

It's set in the early nineties, and has tons of cool tributes to the decade, such as grunge and the X-Files. The attention to detail is really well done and
Wow I'm so excited, I just won this book on goodreads. Looking forward to reading it. Thank you...
I received this book 2 days ago, looks like it's going to be interesting.
I started this book last night and it definitely caught my interest, I woke up this morning with a little extra time to spare and I reached for the book. Thank you so very much for sharing this book with me.
This is a great book!!!
It pulled me in from the very beginning sharing the life of a lonely teenage boy. The descriptio

This is urban horror at its finest. Want to read first person fiction that will keep you reading until the midnight hours? Here is a nasty story that will do the trick. It's a fun, scary, intense story about a lonely teenager looking for escape from his bored, lifeless world. What's so cool about this story is the level of believability the author brings to the table. Somehow all the craziness is believable, which is rare in fiction nowadays.

The nightwalkers he encounters are some of the most re
When you are sixteen, unpopular in high school, your father has died and you are forced to live with your aunt you could say your life sucks. That's exactly how the narrator of Kekic's book feels about his state of being. The only escape from the depression he feels is when he is writing in his journals or walking the streets at night. When one night he meets a mysterious girl, who seems to share his loves of punk music, and the night he feels he may have met the girl of his dreams.

This was the book I won from the Goodreads giveaways. I have mixed feelings about this book, the author had some serious writing skills, thats for sure. But i had a hard time reading through all the parts that dealt with death and torture. At the same time the story line was very interesting, and it kept me reading through the night. It starts off with just a teenage boy who is teased and disliked at his school. One day he falls asleep on the bus and ends up missing his stop and having to walk h ...more
Written from the viewpoint of the main character, Nightwalkers tells the story of a teenage boy who has lost his parents and is living with an aunt he dislikes. Loneliness surrounds him and practically consumes him. He finds some relief from this sad life by going out into the darkness of the night and walking. One night, he runs into a girl he is instantly attracted to, but does not find out her name. She only tells him that if he returns the following night, he will find her once again. This c ...more

Let me start by saying that I was not disappointed by this book at all. It was a mix between a horror story, a mystery, and a dark love story.

It starts off with a boy who's life is really messed up, a boy whom we never learn the name of. He meets a girl named Chloe while walking around his town at night and falls in love with her immediately. And no wonder, she is drop-dead gorgeous...

Chloe invites the unnamed narrator into a group called the Nightwalkers. The Nightwalkers walk around

Good pacing and filled with suspense. I was pretty excited to read because the previous book by the author- Gore Road- was really scary. Nightwalkers is also scary but the story is broken up nicely with action/suspense sequences which build to a great ending. I hope the author, Keith kekic, continues to write more books. I came across his 1st book by accident and consider myself fortunate to have done so.

This is urban horror at its finest. It,s a fun, scary ,intense story about a lonely teenager looking for escape from his boring lifeless world. The Nightwalkers he encounters are some of the most real, believeable human characters i have had the pleasure to read about in a long while. A truly fascinating read.
