Xander and the wind did not get along. Every time he had a balloon, it flew away. Every time he had an umbrella, it flipped inside-out. Every time he blew soap bubbles, they got in his eyes. Xander knew he had to learn to get along with the wind... but how?

A great read for children. Beautiful watercolor-effect illustrations with soft edges and complex shadings. And Xander's dog is adorable! The story has a nice little build-up about Xander's difficulties with the wind and how he solves the situation, and perfectly combines a meaningful plot with light-hearted illustrations. Recommended for kids of all ages.
