Sexual abuse of children within a family is probably the most difficult topic a book can deal with. It`s all the more remarkable that the author succeeded in writing a poetic, sensitive, authentic, (sometimes even) humorous, powerfull coming-of-age story of a thirteen year old girl.

It`s a book for juveniles and also explicitly for adults!

Chic lit / teenage read. A little disturbing but a fine book. A day's read.
