Review:

"Bound to Night" by Nina Croft was the first in the series: 'Sisters of the Moon.' I found this novel to be as usual one of Ms Croft reads that keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering what is coming next. This was a short read but a well written ship of a relations that formed between a vampire and werewolf. Even though this started out as a friendsh...more

Nina Croft has crafted a well-written story about a relationship between a vampire and a werewolf that starts as a friendship and grows into so much more.

Natasha was attacked by a werewolf when she was only thirteen years old and has lived at ‘the Facility’ for the past eight years. Living like a lab rat, each night the guards come and try to force her to turn into a werewolf. Since she is also telepathic they give her truth serum to see if she knows how to turn. For eight long years she has no...more

Bound to Night by Nina Croft

I really liked this story and this series. First time author for me but not last time that’s for sure. It was well written and the pages just flew by quickly so it was a good thing I had the other two in the series lined up.

Favorite line:

“Take off your clothes,” he ordered and her skin quivered with anticipation.
“Ooh, I love it when you go all masterful on me.”

This was a short tale about a young girl whose life is altered dramatically when she was attacked and kidnapped at age 13 and at age 21 she was rescued by a vampire from her captors. She was attacked by and is now a werewolf. The story is a very quick paced, sex-filled paranormal romance. Looks like a series of books. I'd recommend!

I received this book via LibraryThing.com member giveaway for an honest review.

To me, this seemed to be a short book. I read it rapidly. I enjoyed the subject matter. Jack's character is slowly revealed. His feelings for Tasha are real, and returned with much enthusiasm. The tone of this book is dark and could be depressing if not for Jack and Tasha. I look forward to reading the follow up books because my curiousity is piqued.

I liked that this wasn't a typical werewolf/vampire story.

Tasha was 13 when she was attacked by a werewolf and left for dead. She wakes up at The Facility. At the Facility she was used as a science experiment. Treated horribly, she soon is given to the new "experiment". Little does she know that he will be her savior.

Needs more length and I just didn't buy the whole instant love Tasha had for the vamp... Would have liked to see her a little less immature and and more plot..
Jenn
I like this as a stand alone, it was pretty strong. Not sure I'll read more in the series because this seemed to fit all that had been set up just right.
Lindsey
good short read though wish there would have been more to it.
