Written by Kathryn Hulme with block print illustrations by Helene Vogt, published in 1930.
Two lone women drive their car across North Africa on a three thousand mile trip through Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco, over a period of four months, sometime around 1930.
The story is a well written adventure with descriptions that bring to life the people and places they come across, and their experiences as they travel. Gutsy women!
