From the first page, I could not stop smiling. This is simply a delightful book that will charm everyone who reads it. From the humorous way the little bug is presented to the vibrant illustrations, there is nothing to detract the reader from enjoyment. Although there are some slightly scary moments, they are dealt with so deftly that the child will not have time to be afraid before he is smiling again at the antics of "the messy little sleeper's nighttime escapades.

Buglette is a charming book with beautiful illustrations that bring this sweet story to life. Buglette has big dreams which cause her clean room and bed to become messy, as she tosses and turns acting out her dreams. It also causes a problem when she wakes the crow. Buglette maybe small, but this little accidental heroine proves her size has nothing to do with her bravery. My kids really enjoyed reading about Buglette's adventure in her dreams. Buglette even got a few laughs out of them when she...more

Buglette had big dreams at night and she tosses and turns so much that in the morning her bed is very messy. Her mother worries that such tossing and turning will draw the attention of the crow. One night it does. Buglette bravely saves her family by tossing a blanket over the crow’s eyes.

Terribly cute bugs in this story.

“Buglett had dreams.
BIG dreams.
And in the morning…

Buglett woke to a most untidy bed. Mama Bug shook her head and said, ‘Why can’t you be more like Spot and Red? Such neat little...more

Buglette is a very tidy bug...except when it comes to sleeping. For such a tiny bug, she sure has big dreams that make her thrash and roll and twist! Her family becomes worried that her messy sleeping will wake the crow, and when it does, who is the heroine? Our little buglette!
I wasn't crazy about this book but it was still cute. The illustrations are cute and the crow is especially menacing. Some of the text seemed a little forced but I think kids would really like Buglette's imaginings and h...more

Buglette, the Messy Sleeper is a charming, sweet book. The story follows Buglette, who happens to be a very neat bug by day, and a very messy sleeper by night. She has fantastic dreams that she lives out physically while she sleeps much to the dismay of her bug family. When a crow attacks one night, Buglette's messy sleeping saves the day and no one complains about it any longer. This book would appeal to bug enthusiasts and dreamers.

We have a weakness for bugs in our family...just the ones that star in picture books. Buglette is no exception...a tidy bug by day but a floppy wild sleeper by night as her dreams take her places and end up creating potential distress for the bug family. Illustrations are intricate and adorable.

Oh this is cute....can't wait to see the final copy. I put this in the same category as Cloudette. Makes you smile, and would be a fun read-aloud for young children.

This little bug is so cute. I loved the book ... until the end. Sort of fell a little flat for me. But it's OK because I still think the kids will enjoy it.

How fun does this little launch party look? http://randomactsofreading.wordpress....

The illustrations remind me a bit of Sylvia Long... just not as detailed and with a certain Kimochi quality. (http://www.kimochis.com)
