"Jack the Ripper must have been a vampire.

What a great first line. I was hooked.

This book is a quick and fabulous read about her studly Warriors of Poseidon. Here we have Christophe, our bad boy warrior, who while trying to retrieve an aquamarine that belongs in Poseidon's trident, meets the Scarlet Ninja. The Scarlet Ninja is a modern-day Robin Hood figure who robs from the rich and gives to the poor of London. But why is the Scarlet Ninja needed at all?

All of her Warriors of Poseidon books are

Fantasticly Hot Story! Each book Alyssa Day does gets better and better as she gets closer to ending this series.

I loved christophe the Posiedon Warrior and his sexy as hell charm. Of course his mate Lady Fiona the Scarlet Ninja was the perfect woman for him. The chemistry between them was so hot. Actually throughout the whole book it had the best Erotica scenes that I couldn't help but get excited myself. I loved the humor they shared and the Happy Ever After ending was great and had me smiling

This installment in the Warriors of Poseidon series left something lacking. Christophe & Fiona's relationship was just a little too smooth. There was absolutely no pursuit. Christophe & Hopkin’s banter was awesome. The action was not nearly as exciting as the previous books. There was a ton of conflict build up then it just kind of fizzled away. I also was severely disappointed as to where Denal went with this book. I guess this is going to be the way he matures & becomes a wounded w ...more

Okay so I am a little mad at myself for pushing this one off for so long. I have never been a fan of Christophe. I have pretty much hated him actually so I really had no desire to read his book BUT omg I love him now.

I was so freaking surprised by this book. I loved everything about it. Christophe was sweet, SWEET! Can you believe that? Psh. If I hadn't read it I wouldn't have either but he was. He was everything that is perfect about the Atlantis Warriors. Hell he was better. He may be my favo

Atlantian warrior Christophe, up for a challenge to relieve the boredom of killing vamps, plans on milking his assignment to retrieve The Siren, another of the gems needed before Atlantis can rise. On a scouting expedition in preparation for stealing the jewel from the Tower of London, Christophe crosses paths and wits and is bested by the notorious Scarlet Ninja - aka Fiona Campbell - who also has plans to acquire the treasure. But when someone else accomplishes the theft ahead of them, the pai ...more

Atlantis Betrayed is the story about Christophe and Fiona.
Christoph was sent to London to get another gem for Poseidon's Trident, the Siren.
As he was in the museum, where the Sword of William the Conquerer is, he mets Fiona, who will also steal the Siren

At the begin I was really close to skip the book. I thought,
I'm in the wrong movie ehm book. It remembers me at the action figure Lara Croft (with Angelina Jolie), who is also a Lady, lives in a mansion, has this special butler, a brother and an

This is my favorite book so far in this series. Alyssa Day’s Warriors are hot and they charm their way right into your heart. This series is quickly becoming my favorite series, you don’t get a huge lot of new characters in each book and at least the villains are not always the same. Alyssa keeps things fresh and full of action. If you haven’t tried this series yet, please do, the first books are slim on the heat, but they get better as you keep going. Each book also brings you deeper into these ...more

Christophe is the loose cannon of the Seven because of his horrid childhood and as a result has never allowed love in any form in. Fiona has an super-hero-like-alter ego because of wrongs in her family's past. He has more power than they all thought, including Alaric, and she is a Seelie Court Fae royalty descendant. They meet and fireworks go off and they end up in bed together the first day. The Fae play a large part of this story, as well as betrayal, partnership, and new allies. Great read!!

Despite my dislike of Christophe from earlier books I ended up enjoying his story. He actually became quite likable and was very charming. There were some cute scenes in the book.

I think this is one of the better ones in this series.

Another great read from Alyssa Day. Her Warriors of Poseidon consistently give a good read with lots of action, interesting characters, and a well crafted world.

The hero this time round is Christophe [who the reader has occasionally wanted to slap and various characters have grown steadily more concerned about] over the last several books. He's been sent to steal one of the Crown Jewels from the Tower of London [it's one of the Trident Jewels] and seems to be rather bored with the task - until h

Atlantis Betrayed by Alyssa Day
Paranormal Romance- Sep 7th 2010
5 stars

I loved Atlantis Betrayed! It is definitely my new favorite in Alyssa Day’s Warriors of Poseidon series. The hero is super hot and heroine is more than a match for him!

Lady Fiona is the notorious Scarlet Ninja, a famous thief. And her new target the Siren. The large jewel set in the sword of William the Conquer. Unfortunately, it is locked done under the tight security of the Tower of London . While she is casing the Tower

OMG, this series has been quite a ride. I'm so in love with all the characters at this point that I just know I found one more fav. The world building is terrific, you get to read about shifters, faeries, witches & sorcerers, vampires, gods & goddesses, and our amazing warriors of Poseidon. What not to like about it? Also you get a different perspective of the paranormal world as the creatures in it are almost not good at all, mostly villains except for some exceptions in every spices. B ...more

Sixth in the Warriors of Poseidon paranormal romance series revolving around the elite guard of the Crown Prince of Atlantis. The couple focus is on Christophe and Lady Fiona Campbell. The jewel of interest is the Siren.

My Take
This was an improvement over the last one! Although, to be fair, it could simply be the change of location that has pepped things up.

It was pretty stupid to just reconnoiter and not take the damn sword, although it does provide all sorts of action for the story… I did enj

I love Alyssa's world of Atlantis. I look forward to all her books because I know the story is going to continue and can be part of that make believe world. I'm going to be really sad when the adventure ends. I know they all have to end or else they become routine...kind of like Christine Feehan's Carpathian series. I enjoyed it for a while but then it kinda got old. Christophe and Fiona were a fun read. I like all the humor Alyssa throws in that makes you just laugh out loud...like Alaric. I am ...more

I enjoyed reading this book. It had a great storyline and it was really captivating. I wasn't that thrilled with the romance part of the book. I think they started off way too fast. I really wasn't able to get a feel for the romance; so it was just okay. What I really loved about this book was that I didn't have to start reading the entire series to get a feel for the characters. Sometimes you have to do that, but this book was able to stand on its own. Fun read.

This was my least favourites of the series. I just didn't find it as interesting. The plot advancement was slow and then when it hit a really interesting point the scene was over in a blink, then you had to plod along for quite a long time until the next good scene but don't blink because it will disappear too.

I was also very disappointed with Denal's part in this book. There should have been much more than a paragraph about that whole debacle. We've all come to adore this "youngling" warrior s

Another great installment in the Warriors of Poseidon series. My only complaint is yet another heroine with unrealistic expectations of herself. If I was surrounded by vampires or enraged shapeshifters and the big, strong Atlantean warrior asked me to run away, I would. Just sayin'. However it all worked out in the end so I guess that's okay.

Originally I was skeptical about reading Christophe's book. He seemed like a jerk and a power mad psycho. But after readying the first couple chapters I was hooked! He was charming and lovable with the hint of the warrior/ pighead we've all come to know. Fiona was the perfect mate for him. Someone he could be challenged with, and someone who took what information he gave her, and still loved him no matter his faults. I loved how she was able to rein in his powers and anger to make him a more lev ...more

Christophe is sent to London to retrieve a sword embedded with the 'Siren': one of the Trident gems. It’s kept in the Tower of London where he runs into another thief out to steal the same sword: the infamous Scarlet Ninja. Of course the S.N. is female and the two decide to work together against other groups also after the gem said to be able to control shifters.

Christophe is not too happy to be on this assignment at first, but the when Fiona (SN) comes on the scene he’s all in. Though she’s n

"Atlantis Betrayed" by Alyssa Day. Book 6 in the Warriors of Poseidon series.

I liked this book. The main characters were Christophe (a Warrior of Poseidon) and Fiona (a thief).

The reason I gave this book 3 stars is mainly because I didn't really like Christophe ever since he was first introduced in the series. He comes across as a real asshole. In the first 25% to 30% of this book when he meets Fiona there is no love between them. It's basically lust, plain and simple. And that is from both char

For Atlantis to rise again a variety of gems with special powers are needed and while a few have been collected and are safe in Atlantis, there are still a few in danger of falling into the wrong hands. Christophe is sent to London to retrieve the Siren, which happens to be an invaluable English crown jewel as well. While trying to steal the Siren Christophe runs into the Scarlet Ninja, aka Lady Fiona Campbell, a modern day Robin Hood who is a children’s book author by day and a highly skilled t ...more

In one word to sum up this installment BEAUTIFUL!!!

This book is wonderful you can really tell the author loves Christophe in the way she writes his story, such depth and feeling and vunerability and strength.

When I first picked this book up I wasnt to worried what would happen as I have never loved Chrisophe as a character although I did find him interesting in other titles from this series.

I really thought this novel would be a filler till the next installment well I was amazingly shocked to

“Atlantis Betrayed” is the sixth book (plus two novellas) in Alyssa Day’s Warriors of the Poseidon series. As I continue through Warriors of Poseidon, I noticed that I was pleasantly surprised by the last two books. In “Atlantis Betrayed” I figured that streak was over, as I totally disliked Christophe. Boy was I wrong…I loved him in this book, loved him with Fiona…and I think he is now my favorite…just goes to show that until you read their stories….you will never know.

After "Atlantis Redeemed", I almost didn't read on in the series. That book was idiotic with a single plot line and ineffectual hero/heroines, that go into and reacted stupidly. Worse the characters seemed to have forced chemistry. This book was the complete opposite, yea!

Christophe was definitely not one of my favorite characters in the previous books but this book turns that around. She gets into Christophe's character and you immediately want to know more. But then you are put into his missio

I’ve read numerous blog posts, newsletters, etc. about how interesting Christophe’s character was to both Alyssa Day and the readers of this series. I was always surprised at this because Christophe interested me about as much as watching grass grow. He just never did it for me. I found his surliness to be childish. I didn’t find his lack of maturity endearing. The complete opposite in fact. I wanted Alaric to kick Christophe’s ass. Oh the arrogance. Please, for the love of Atlantis someone take ...more
