I was very honored when I received Forever Mine for review from Elizabeth Reyes. I'm always up for a good contemporary novel. As much as I wanted to love this book and give it a 5 star review, I couldn't. While it was an okay enough read, I did have some issues with it. There are books that I can just sit there and read and not put down until I'm done, but unfortunately this wasn't one of those.

I don't think I've ever read a book that wa...more

This series was the absolute best surprise. Have had this first bk for a while but kept putting it off, now I can’t stop telling people about it. Gotta re-read Angel and Sarah’s story again . WOW! Elizabeth Reyes knocked me out with this one. The Moreno family is a hot, intense, passionate, fiery, interesting bunch. The banter between the brothers and their friend is hilarious. Make no mistake, just because Angel, Sarah and their crowd are senior’s in high school – this is no YA book. Or maybe...more

Angel, Sarah, and Sydney... A love triangle or one huge miscommunication? Although the readers know from the get go that miscommunication was the case, Angel had no idea. That left my heart hurting for him.

I loved this story! It was a great way to start of the Moreno Brothers series! A must read for everyone (and don't just stop with this novel because all of Elizabeth's novels are truly amazing)

This is probably one of the cutest books I've read in a long time. This is my first book by Elizabeth Reyes, but I've already started on the second book in this series & have bought the rest of them. This book brought back soooo many high-school memories (some good & some bad), and truly made me feel like I was friends with the characters in this book.

The good:
I truly fell in love with Reyes' characters (I would love a Moreno man of my own). Like I said before, the author really makes y...more

I am confused. I liked the book in bits and pieces.
It is light hearted romance novel. It's not bad but there is nothing breath-taking about it either.

SARAH
Sarah is either too naive or just plain stupid.
Everyone warned her about that coach yet she went with him alone to a secluded place. I mean she almost gets herself raped by that pervert.
Being a "damsel in distress" is not cool anymore.Sometimes it makes sense but here it didn't. I like it better when the female character is strong and can s...more

5 STARS!!!! this book reminded me sooo much of perfect chemistry . although the plot was'nt what i expected. It still deserved 5 stars. The characters were well written and super funny. I recommend this book for those who have read perfect chemistry and are looking for something with a similar

p.s Did I mention the devilishly handsome Angel Moreno!!! ;)

What a great start to this series! Sarah and Angel's story was so wonderful and beautiful I just want to hurry up and get to Alex and Valerie's story NOW so I can see them again.

Angle Moreno is the unattainable jock that every girl dreams about. He's gorgeous, sexy, thoughtful, respectful, and responsible. Oh and Hispanic, my kind of guy! Having fun at school and hanging out with his friends he wasn't really looking for any kind of permanent relationship with anyone. He especially never thought...more

I must say the moreno brothers are very jealous and possesive.

Angel is the popular hot boy who all the teenage girls are gushing over and throwing themselves at. He's had plenty of experience but never had a girlfriend. When he meets the sad eyed girl Sarah, he's hooked. You would think that commitment would be a problem for him but that's not it at all. He commits and he falls hard. Sarah falls for him too but the fact that he doesn't think that girls and boys can be just friends makes Sarah feel like she has to hide the fact that her best friend Sydney i...more

I've read all the books in the Moreno Brothers Series except Romero's story and this is my favorite. I love the other books but this will always have a special place in my heart. I love Angel and Sarah and even though they have a mini story which is included in Sal's book, I still felt deprived of their story. It felt "bitin". I wanted more. It is so good that you'll want to find that special someone who'll make you feel loved and wh...more

Having read “Noah” and loved it, I decided to give the Moreno Brothers series a go, now I don’t go for soppy romances and the titles of this series looked ominous but seeing they were picking up some good reviews and having given other ominously titled books a go and loving them, thought I’d look past this.

So here we focus on the first of the Moreno family, Angel, who is the youngest of the three sons. He is in high school, has girls swooning over him and we are under no uncertain terms how gorg...more

I deeply enjoyed this fun young romance! Sarah and Angel are such a sweet couple, reading about their love was very touching. However I could not get pass Sarah's plans to move back to Arizona to be with her best friend Sydney i thought she was crazy to want to leave Angel especially after she decided to cash in her V card. Angel Moreno was HOT and so are is spicy Latino brothers. I can't wait to read Alex's bk next!!:) All the Moreno brothers have a very protective dominate personality i felt s...more

Such a beautiful cover. Too bad the story isn't as beautiful. I'm not even halfway done and already I can tell where the story is going.

Sorry, but withholding information about a male best friend from a boyfriend is not enough to hold this story together. Getting jealous about past relationships that had nothing to do with you in the first place isn't enough to hold this story together. Getting jealous over every little thing and detail about someone's life that you've barely known is childish,...more

Great!!! So cute and sweet, a great teen romance, a little predictable but that's ok :) I really liked it, enjoyed it and will definitely be reading the rest of the series. It just possibly seemed a little too good to be true for their love with no issues till the Sydney thing, a little too simple the falling in love. They never fought, and it seemed really smooth, a little unrealistic. It maybe could have used a bit more description about why, how and as they fell in love. Less of the I am attr...more

I absolutely loved this book!

I really feel like i connected with all the characters in this book. I liked it the way Sarah was and felt the hardship she faced telling Angel about Syd. I also loved the way she did not want to become close to people but just couldn't help it, she was a really amazing character (she even has human flaws - like her mistake on the way she totally miss judged the sports teacher - made her easier to relate to more).

I thought Angel over reacted abit about the whole Syd...more

Oh My God I LOVED this book!!! It was amazing!! I’ll stop gushing and go to the point:

Reading the plot you can immediately associate it with the Perfect Chemistry novels by Simone Elkeles. Good Girl falls in love with Trouble Mexican boy. Yes, they do share this in common but they also could have not been more different. Angel – Main character of Forever Mine – is a Mexican boy that doesn’t know Spanish xD and he is a good guy, just a little bit of a Don J...more

I've read this for only a day, non-stop. I can't seem to tear my face away. I'm thoroughly focused and nothing had ever stop me, even from before from being comfy with a good book. Oh Crap! I wish I was Sarah. I want to be with a Moreno too. Hump :(

but anyways the story is fantastic. Totally worth 5 stars. I just got a wee bit mad at Sarah for keeping Sidney's gender from Angel. And Angel is such a total ass for not trusting S...more

What can i say about this book that i loved so much...It drew me in straight away.. I loved that it was put in both Sharh and Angels point of view so you knew what their emotions were and what they were thinking.. I loved that yes it was a love story that it was not a typical girl gets hot guy and thats it there was complications that you dont normally see in love storys, like the complication with Sydney ohh and i loved the story that unfolded with Coach Rudy.I loved it that for a while it went...more

I really liked this book. Was a bit steamy but I hate it when books go on for 400 pages about whether or not to kiss - arrgghhh get on with it already! Not so this book.
I loved the characters - main and supporting.
Overall a good read and I'm happily into reading the second one - oh those boys are divine!

Hmmm... so Angel here doesn't believe that boys and girls can just be friends.. of course i don't believe that but i know that there are limitations for friends.. For example, saying "i love you" to your guy friend in front of your boyfriend (in this case, ex boyfriend whom you still love and loves you right back) or holding hands or hugging too tightly. Err.. i dunno, i loved the story except how it ended. I know Sydney and Sarah are trying to limit their friendship but it kinda left a bad tast...more

I did finish this book but I don't know why. Probably mainly because I hate to not finish a book.
I think the main problem is you didn't get that bit of the story where they fall in love over time and not just one night at a party hook up.
There was no tension and I think possibly the fact that there was no other story going on beyond their relationship emphasised the lack of chemistry for me.
I never got invested in the characters and never doubted the ending. Beautiful Disaster this is not! I t...more

Since I hate writing reviews, I'm gong to keep this one short and sweet.

1. WHY DID IT HAVE TO END?
2. I want an Angel Moreno of my own. *sniff* (I can dream right?)
3. The only thing that irked me about this book was how petty Sarah and Angel were being when it hit climax.

I finished the book today and I was really happy at the end. I must say there were times were I wanted to throw kindle across the room but that would of been horrible but I loved it and totally recommend it!!!!=)

More than half way through this book and I'm really enjoying the story, characters and writing. Although I'm a bit older than the characters in this young adult romance I can still relate and remember back to those days in high school when first love was a very powerful thing.

I wish words could adequately describe my hatred for this book. It was horrible. Downright horrible.

There was nothing cute or romantic about this book before. The main characters, Angel and Sarah, meet and are suddenly making out and madly in love. I can deal with that. I love West Side Story and the love at first sight thing.

But I have to be honest, Angel kind of scared me. He is possessive to the point where it is scary. I feel like he had all the classic symptoms of someone who's going to gro...more

“What?” Eric shook his head. “Angel Moreno is into talking to chicks now? When did you turn into a total wuss?"

Angel shrugged, and took another bite of his food.

He avoided looking at Eric; suddenly not sure he wanted to talk about it. “I don’t know, dude, she’s just cool to hang with, I guess.”

Eric nodded, as if he got it. “So, you’re not into her? I thought she was pretty hot.”

“I’m into her, you ass, just ‘cause I didn’t bone her the first night. Not all girls are like that, you know.”

Eric grinned. “So, you did get shot down.”
