Such a beautiful cover. Too bad the story isn't as beautiful. I'm not even halfway done and already I can tell where the story is going.

Sorry, but withholding information about a male best friend from a boyfriend is not enough to hold this story together. Getting jealous about past relationships that had nothing to do with you in the first place isn't enough to hold this story together. Getting jealous over every little thing and detail about someone's life whom you've barely known is childish,

I was very honored when I received Forever Mine for review from Elizabeth Reyes. I'm always up for a good contemporary novel. As much as I wanted to love this book and give it a 5 star review, I couldn't. While it was an okay enough read, I did have some issues with it. There are books that I can just sit there and read and not put down until I'm done, but unfortunately this wasn't one of those.

I don't think I've ever read a book that wa

Ms. Reyes' writing ability is decent, aside from an aversion to commas, but this story is horrible. Seriously, nothing in this book is okay.

Suppppppooooosssedly, this book is about a girl who has to move away (they always have to move away, why is that?) to live with her aunt and uncle and meets a super awesome dude.

In reality, it is a book about a girl who has to move away to live with her aunt and meets a controlling jerk who she spends most of her time worrying about how he'll be mad about

7/27/2014 - 2.5 stars for the audio version. One of my favorite bks turns out to be a dud on audio. The voice the narrator uses for the guys in the story makes them sound like cartoon character meatheads. And she uses the same dumb voice for all the guys (Moreno's, Eric, Romero). UGH! Skip the audio version and read the bk. Such a diappointing shame.

9/22/2011 This series was the absolute best surprise. Have had this first bk for a while but kept putting it off, now I can’t stop telling people a
This is probably one of the cutest books I've read in a long time. This is my first book by Elizabeth Reyes, but I've already started on the second book in this series & have bought the rest of them. This book brought back soooo many high-school memories (some good & some bad), and truly made me feel like I was friends with the characters in this book.

The good:
I truly fell in love with Reyes' characters (I would love a Moreno man of my own). Like I said before, the author really makes y

What a great start to this series! Sarah and Angel's story was so wonderful and beautiful I just want to hurry up and get to Alex and Valerie's story NOW so I can see them again.

Angle Moreno is the unattainable jock that every girl dreams about. He's gorgeous, sexy, thoughtful, respectful, and responsible. Oh and Hispanic, my kind of guy! Having fun at school and hanging out with his friends he wasn't really looking for any kind of permanent relationship with anyone. He especially never thought
SO DISAPPOINTED! From the reviews I read on amazon I thought this sounded like a sweet YA romance. NOT SO! Unfortunately too late I found out that it was NOT CLEAN and had horrible language. DID NOT even make it 1/4 of the way let alone finish the book.... and I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE FOR YA?????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? YUCK! Makes me so sad :( Can I give it NO STARS??? If I could I would!
I am confused. I liked the book in bits and pieces.
It is light hearted romance novel. It's not bad but there is nothing breath-taking about it either.

Sarah is either too naive or just plain stupid.
Everyone warned her about that coach yet she went with him alone to a secluded place. I mean she almost gets herself raped by that pervert.
Being a "damsel in distress" is not cool anymore.Sometimes it makes sense but here it didn't. I like it better when the female character is strong and can s

I deeply enjoyed this fun young romance! Sarah and Angel are such a sweet couple, reading about their love was very touching. However I could not get pass Sarah's plans to move back to Arizona to be with her best friend Sydney i thought she was crazy to want to leave Angel especially after she decided to cash in her V card. Angel Moreno was HOT and so are is spicy Latino brothers. I can't wait to read Alex's bk next!!:) All the Moreno brothers have a very protective dominate personality i felt s ...more

Oh My God I LOVED this book!!! It was amazing!! I’ll stop gushing and go to the point:

Reading the plot you can immediately associate it with the Perfect Chemistry novels by Simone Elkeles. Good Girl falls in love with Trouble Mexican boy. Yes, they do share this in common but they also could have not been more different. Angel – Main character of Forever Mine – is a Mexican boy that doesn’t know Spanish xD and he is a good guy, just a little bit of a Don J

2.5 stars... This book had some serious potential. There was just some spark or something missing. I can't really put my finger on it. I just didn't connect with Sarah and Angel.

Sarah and Angel had an instant connection, they were drawn to each other from the moment they met and that part of the story was beautiful to read. I found myself wanting more detail, why they felt that way about their budding relationship. Parts were choppy and time moved strangely, one moment it was daily then they jum

Angel, Sarah, and Sydney... A love triangle or one huge miscommunication? Although the readers know from the get go that miscommunication was the case, Angel had no idea. That left my heart hurting for him.

I loved this story! It was a great way to start of the Moreno Brothers series! A must read for everyone (and don't just stop with this novel because all of Elizabeth's novels are truly amazing)

I really liked this book. Was a bit steamy but I hate it when books go on for 400 pages about whether or not to kiss - arrgghhh get on with it already! Not so this book.
I loved the characters - main and supporting.
Overall a good read and I'm happily into reading the second one - oh those boys are divine!
Spoiler Whore says calm your tits people, it's just a book
I really enjoyed this story. It brought back memories of high school cause we had a set of Moreno brothers that we got all giddy for. High school drama and cute love story. Adored it.
Good story about first love. A little angsty, but good nonetheless. I can't wait to read about Eric & Sofia and especially Valerie & Alex.

First loves can be filled with every emotion under the sun—heart bursting love, all consuming passion, awkwardness, joy, trust, and pain. Forever Mine by Elizabeth Reyes covers it all and much more. Angel is the star of this story, which is book one in a sexy series featuring the legendary, insatiable, and gorgeous Moreno brothers!

Ms. Reyes really pulled me in and made me feel like a part of the family! With a big warm embrace, Angel charmed the hell out of me and Sarah! :D His world of family,

What made this book for me were the supporting characters. I loved the humor of Angel's older brother Alex, his two bffs Eric and Romero and the straight forwardness of Sarah's cousin Valerie. I didn't like that the author made Sarah too naive, or giving someone the benefit of the doubt, towards the end of the book. You'll see what I mean. I wanted to reach through the book and smack her upside the head. I did like that this book was done in 2 POVs, Sarah's and Angel's. Sarah and Angel have a ve ...more

I picked this up for free but had been wanting to purchase it because of the reviews but the cover didn't "say" YA so I didn't get past that.

Wow! Wish I'd read it sooner! This author knows how to write the alpha-male. And I'm nuts for that type of male interest. That alone got the book shoved up to the four-star category. Do not spoon feed me the simp male, it will not work. Reyes crams Angel down our throats and I loved it! He's larger-than-life and never sugar-coats his feelings or intentions

What can i say about this book that i loved so much...It drew me in straight away.. I loved that it was put in both Sharh and Angels point of view so you knew what their emotions were and what they were thinking.. I loved that yes it was a love story that it was not a typical girl gets hot guy and thats it there was complications that you dont normally see in love storys, like the complication with Sydney ohh and i loved the story that unfolded with Coach Rudy.I loved it that for a while it went ...more

I'm swooning all over the place right now...I loved it!

Forever mine is sweet, funny, romantic and very addictive. I had a hard time putting it down...I had to...but didn't want to! Personally I think that's the beauty of E. Reyes' writing because even though the premise of the story was at times predictable there were enough twists that I needed to know what happened next and I fell in love with every single character in this book, which is rare!!! intense, so possessive, so protective

wow, an amazing intense story about first love.

Angel is so well done. He is fiery and fierce, intense and in love. And his jealousy is so natural for the age. He isn't overly possessive (I was worried he would be ridiculous but it was pretty reasonable).

I also think Sarah's reactions to all of it were equally well done, very realistic.

First love is intense and crazy and unreasonable. This was a very good story about it.
I really loved this story of Angel and Sarah. I liked the relationship between them it seemed real and not forced. Although they have to overcome an obstacle, that should'nt be one, it happen and everything goes to shit. I highly recommend this series!

Hopefully as Sarah matures she will learn to listen to that inner voice that she ignored or fought the entire book. Great cast of characters, looking forward to Alex.

It's actually like a 2.5. It wasn't at all THAT bad but oh my god.

This was a free book from amazon and I said why not. I had so many issues with this book but then again it was also pretty fun to read.

First, there was insta love. LIKE I've never seen insta love so...instant? haha It was just like WOAAAAH OKAY THEN. But in the end the characters did in fact spent a long time dating or getting to know each other if you wanna call it that.

Second, THE PLOT LINE WAS RIDICULOUS. It was just so weird.

When Sarah is forced to move to California she leaves behind a best friend in Sydney. While Sydney was the little fat boy who befriended the girl with braces, they've since both grown up and are now closer than many siblings. But, living in separate states, with Sarah quickly developing a romantic relationship with Angel, and Sydney back in New Mexico developing a relationship with Carina, will the two be able to continue their friendship and convince their respective romantic interests that guy ...more

I've read all the books in the Moreno Brothers Series except Romero's story and this is my favorite. I love the other books but this will always have a special place in my heart. I love Angel and Sarah and even though they have a mini story which is included in Sal's book, I still felt deprived of their story. It felt "bitin". I wanted more. It is so good that you'll want to find that special someone who'll make you feel loved and wh

Review: I'm so surprised by how much I enjoyed this book! I've heard so much about this series and figured since it was only $0.99 I'd give it a try. Best. Decision. Ever.

I love that the boys are Hispanic because honestly there's only one other series hat has ever put a main character as a Hispanic and that was the Perfect Chemistry series. And considering I'm also a Hispanic I love it! I automatically tried to compare the two but in reality

“What?” Eric shook his head. “Angel Moreno is into talking to chicks now? When did you turn into a total wuss?"

Angel shrugged, and took another bite of his food.

He avoided looking at Eric; suddenly not sure he wanted to talk about it. “I don’t know, dude, she’s just cool to hang with, I guess.”

Eric nodded, as if he got it. “So, you’re not into her? I thought she was pretty hot.”

“I’m into her, you ass, just ‘cause I didn’t bone her the first night. Not all girls are like that, you know.”

Eric grinned. “So, you did get shot down.”
“When he finally opened his eyes he saw her sit up
and smile at him. She was beautiful, her dark hair was
tousled, and her green eyes glimmered. God have mercy.
He’d died and gone to heaven.”
