After The Sunset made my list of recommended reads because of the sophistication of the main players and innovative plot. The author does a great job of shaping each character and bringing them to life. Eric on the surface is a hard, womanizing ADA. I really enjoyed this book. The author's style is fun and engaging and Nichole and Eric are interesting, well developed characters. The plot is imaginative and well paced and I was actually very interested in the murder investigation which is always a plus in a romance novel. The main downfall of this book is the editing. This was an enjoyable read, light and funny, with a little mystery thrown for good measure. I did like that our hero and love interest was a mans man who spent his down time at the gym and playing video games like most men I know. Our heroin was witty and independent but not to the point that she was was stupid. She thought things out and at time over thought them.
