I won this book through goodreads first-reads. This book really does it all! The "Basics" chapters on brain muscle and emotional brain and exercise, are intelligent, clear, and concise. Though I recommend reading all of the chapters, for those who want to get to the point and get to the workout, the layout and section titles make it easy to go back and reference a particular topic later on if you need to. Whew, I am glad I'm a nurse. The foreword is a little over the top for light reading. Then the author does a good job of explaining the brain, but there again while the information is great, it is more than I want for an exercise book. This is one to own if you intend to follow the program because it would be difficult to try and remember all positions and levels. I did notice a good change with the exercises and I am glad I read it.
