It's On the Runway time again, and the Forrester sisters are ready to jet-set off to Paris, France . To the home of designers like Hermes and Chanel. The girls to get into the Paris scene have decided to spice things up a little with a makeover , Paige who has been likened to Grace Kelly and Erin to Audrey Hepburn in Sabrina have undergone haircuts and makeovers to match the stars at Salon Dominique. First stop on their fashion tour is the Hermes factory - home of the Birkin Bag ,every girls dre ...more

The book, Rendezvous is about these two girls named Paige and Erin Forrester who wanted to move their show about fashion towards Paris. When I started to think about what the characters were doing, it sounded real cool and awesome. The filming for the show took place at an estate by Eliza Wilton. As Paige was in Paris, the crew also went shopping to enjoy their time. There were sparkles of love in this book, which I thought maybe suitable for readers who like to read about fashion, travel, and r ...more

So I have been reading this series and I actually won this book in a giveaway, so I thought I would go ahead and review it. (all my opinions are my own and I'm not getting compensation for them.)
This is the 3rd book in the series about two sisters (Erin and Paige) who have their own reality fashion tv show. Erin felt really wishy washy in this book. She is struggling with feelings for 3 different guys! (Well 2 and a half) Plus she can never make up her mind if she likes her sister, Paige, or not

I won this from "First Reads" courtesy of Zondervan!

Rendezvous by Melody Carlson is the third book in her On The Runway series. I honestly think I might have enjoyed this book more if I would have read the first two. That said I can honestly say I now want and plan to read the rest of the series.

This is a story about two sisters who have a fashion reality show. In this installment the girls get to take a trip to Paris. This is a Christian book, so there are some references to God and praying, wh

Rendezvous by Melody Carlson is the third book in her On The Runway series ad I honestly think I might have enjoyed this book more if I would have read the first two. There were some references to past situations that had me feeling a bit lost, not so much that I couldn't read the book but it would have been nice to have the total back story.

I enjoyed this third book in the series, but it seemed like more of a continuation of the series than a title that could stand on it's own. There were several good things to like about this novel, such as how it built on the two prior books, which I'd recently finished. What I didn't care for was the fact that this book had no real conclusion to it. Nothing seemed to wrap up. I prefer a book with a few loose ends tied together, and this one didn't have that. On the plus side, another great chara ...more

I received this book for free through a Goodreads contest that the author Melody Carlson was nice enough to put this book up for. I love reading all kinds of books, and this one is no exception. It is an excellent Teen/Young Adult/Christian or anyone who wants a very good book that is a clean read. I like the underlying messages about living by the word of the lord, obeying the law and caring about other feelings. All this while they are trying to sort out their own lives and feelings. Paige and Erin want to do a day in the life of a model. They decide to spend a weekend at Taylor Mitchell and Eliza Wilton's apartment, but Eliza is jealous, wants to be in the center of attention, etc. So, Paige and Erin decide to deal with it. Then, the next day, Erin finds Eliza in the bathroom crying because she is not who everyone wants her to be and she is VERY jealous of Taylor.

Rendezvous is about Jealousy, Friendship, and overcoming problems.

Really good!

Theme: Look before you leap.

Theme: Things are not always as they appear.

Theme: Act kindly without seeking ultimate reasons. Practice random acts of kindness.

This was a cute book. I hadn't read the first two in the series, but there didn't seem to be a whole lot of issue with that. This is a Christian book, so there are lots of references to God/praying/religion/etc. which is fine and I really liked that there was no cursing, sex, etc. This was really complete fluff, with some very light touches on serious matters within the fashion industry. I expected a murder mystery type story line, and was pleasantly surprised when it really is simply a story. A ...more

The continuing adventures of two sisters in the exciting worlds of TV and fashion. Paige and Erin Forrester travel to Paris for spring fashion shows and to explore classic fashions houses. There they face envy and jealousy--professional, relational, and between each other. It's amazing the breaks these two uneducated, untrained young adults get in two highly competitive worlds. The ending to RENDEZVOUS was quite anti-climatic...and makes me wonder if it picks up in book #4 SPOTLIGHT.

I really liked this book. I feel like I can relate to Erin, I would rather be behind a camera than in front of one. I'm not very interested in fashion, but this book has made want to learn more.

I love how Melody Carlson adds God into her stories. She is an amazing author and I think this book shows that.

I just want to say that I really like Dylan and Gabin, and I hope they show up in the next books :)

This is a cute and fluffy series that's pretty fun to read. I really enjoyed seeing Taylor and Eliza from the Carter House Girls series make an appearance, since I'm in the middle of reading those books as well.

Paige is so annoying though, and Erin caters to her every whim way too much. I also wish these books were longer! Still though, I like them.

I received this book as a Good Reads First Reads. I have to be honest, it was an okay book, but I was a bit lost with certain references because I had yet to read the previous two. It had fun characters and once I get my hand on the other two, I will give this book a more proper review.

Brea's rating: 3/5

A book on the world of fashion, spiced with romance, jealousy and surprises, and with some Christian moral to it. Sounds great, right? Yet, the plot was developing so slow and the characters seemed rather shallow. The book was just OK.

Awesome it really was to read the pacific details of Paris in here, love the outfits they we're describing on here another On The Runway I love deeply. Hated Eliza though she is too cocky and egotistic for her own good. Love it and read it within a day yet again on a book of this series :D

won this in the giveaway. didn't realize it was a part of a series and really don't like to read out of order. Also didn't know this was a christian novel not that I'm opposed but wish had I known both of these things before. saving for a summer read.

My first book from Goodreads First reads! This is a book I would give to a teenage girl who is into fashion. It's easy reading, nothing spectacular, yet fun to read. It has references to today's stars and topics with a hint of Christian good intentions.

I LOVED this book! I could really relate to Erin sometimes. She was very well potrayed, and all the characters were quite realistic.
This is my very first On The Runaway book (yeah i know.) and i really want to read the next one.

Paige and Erin are headed for France, and things aren't all as fabulous as it seems. For one, some cattiness rears it's ugly head on this trip and someone just might get clawed....

I thought it was a good read for pre-teen to early adult, even though I'm a middle aged woman, I still enjoyed the book. Great for girls that are in to fashion and adventure.
Laura
It was fun to read a book set in Paris with characters I enjoy. Now I'm hot to take a trip to Paris in the spring!
LuAnn
I really like the story and characters but sometimes the writing is clunky. It takes me out of the story.

Okay, but I won't read the other books. And yes, no one told me this wasn't the first book in the series.

It was good. Not the best book I have ever read but it was good. I love all of Melody Carlson's books :)
