A practical and valuable book, especially when money's tight - and beyond costing less, it can be healthier to prepare and then preserve your own food, and fun too.
This is definitely a resource book that I will need to purchase when I am harvesting my garden and I begin canning pickles, tomato sauce, etc...!

I want to learn how to preserve food from my backyard garden.
Love it! It is a great resource and now I own it.
There's no way this can simply be a library book for me; the tips and ideas are something I am going to want handy/nearby so I am looking for a used copy!
Not that I will ever be DONE with this book, it was a very good reference guide for myself the novice!
