The book looks gorgeous, full colors, glazed paper, it feels rich.

I was thinking that with the small size there would not be much substance in it though. I was wrong. The books makes good resumes about the wizards of the past, starting with the shamans. I like the Druid part when the author mention the Gauls. Every single book out there about the Celts, usually omits, skips, ignore the Gauls, and always focus about the Celts of the British Isles, and making people believe that the Celts are a "B

It's a really quick, really easy source for a brief look at magical societies, early wizards and then famous practitioners. I feel like some of the other books in the series gave more information but it was still a fun read.
