Because the world of Dusk is told in a series of short, unrelated stories, there's no wrong place to start and it can be swallowed in smaller bites, which is really the best way to read through something that aims as dark as Eve's stories do. Volume 2 doesn't quite delve into the same depths as its predecessor, but there's still nothing light or fluffy about these vampires and their associates.
