to say this book is base in its use of language to describe the sexual tension is an understatement. A shame as the play between Meredith and Paul is really good, but the language spoiled it for me and sometimes the storyline was completely degrading...
Good story, not well written in my opinion

Needs a bit of cleaning up, to be honest. It often changes scene and point of view without an explanation and that makes it very hard to follow.
One moment you're in the club and then all of a sudden she's somewhere else talking to a friend. These transitions need smoothing out.

There was too much drama going on for my taste e.g. insert conflict and then insert another conflict, and insert another conflict. But the conflict is too easily resolved and it's just brushed under the carpet. Some of it

I liked the parts of the story where Mer and Paul were alone together. Also, Paul's relationship with his family. Everything else, I could of done without. The heroine was wishy-washy and not realistic. In fact the whole story was ridiculous, except 4th of July and even then I have a few issues with the story there. Paul was the most dynamic character and his scenes just ended up falling flat. Its not that the heroine was moonlighting as a stripper, I could careless if she's a stripper. It's bec ...more

The story was ok, but I was under the impression that this was going to be a steamy, fast read. It's about an admirals daughter who is a lawyer by day and a stripper by night (hence the cover of a naked girl in a butterfly G-string). The free download I received had very little steam. Almost no love scenes at all in fact. And there were so many non sequiturs that at times I was very confused. One minute she is with her love interest at home, and the next she is in court, but without the leading ...more

Chick lit!! That's ok with me because I loved it! Cute story with a super sassy and smart heroine, and competing hunks! Who could ask for more? Throw in a stripper mom and admiral dad and you've got lots of laugh out loud moments!

Very good. ended very abruptly though. transitions could use some work. I got lost a few times trying to figure out the pov's and change of scenes.

Ok, I'm glad I didn't pay for this one...
the story is very confusing at times... and not really all that believable
