A thorough, statistical examination of adolescent behavior in various areas, which effectively undermines many assumptions adults have about teenage behavior. The overall argument is somewhat unclear, and the statistics are of course 15-20 years out of date, though an attentive reader could probably figure out how to update them.

I read this because I needed a non-fiction book to help me to answer a question- mainly why teens harmed. I didn't really find the answer, didn't expect to, but he opened my eyes about how there were other factors besides age involved. I liked where he was going with this book, that adults and teens basically do the same things, but teens are more likely to be focussed on/ blamed.
