This book was excellent. If you are a camper this is a must read!!! Truthfully I only kayak a few times a year, but I go camping alot more. Many of the tips were very easy to implement and made a great deal of sense. Some I had done before, but a refresher in those was fine. Some I had never even considered and I am grateful for those ideas. Also the recipes are wonderful! I look forward to trying them all!

This is my own book, I wrote it. I will give it 5 stars!
The Hungry Kayaker is written with the weekend camper and paddler in mind. The book is divided into two sections, the first being a thorough exploration of tips, trick and common sense advice to the entry-level camper. All of this is applicable to any camper, novice or advanced as we can always use a little brush up and reminder now and then.
