The catch is, she ...more

Rhys is a spectacular anatomical specimen. Yum!

Luke's son, Rayne, is getting married in Vancouver. Therefore he needs a prime security detail to protect the people at the wedding and at the same time he is determined to look out for Nev as well. There is a medical conference in Vancouver the same weekend, and she will attend it to give a keynote speech. In fact, Nev wants to attend the conference to honor the memory of those good men who died in

So far, my favorite book of the series. Neveah and Rhys were perfect together. No one writes military romantic suspense better than Kaylea Cross.

I really enjoyed my first peek into this series by Kaylea Cross.. I'll definitely be going back and reading the other books in this series soon.

So far my favorite and in my opinion the hottest book of the series.

For this story we are back in Vancouver, for the marriage of Rayne and Christa as well as a medical conference where Neveah is one of the guests.

The suspense part of the book is great, well written and without any hole in the plot. Neveah is really an awesome heroine and with Rhys they make a beautiful and hot couple, but what I loved the most in this book is Rhys. *Le sigh*

Rhys, (very) tall dark and dangerous. Rhys, the highly

Powerfully moving, emotionally charged, and downright entertaining. Rhys and Neveah's book is one of the best romantic suspense novels I've read in awhile. In my opinion, each installment in this series gets just a little bit better than the last. It's fun to catch up with the rest of the gang as well. It's a bit sad to find myself facing Luke and Emily's story knowing it will end this superb reading experience. Highly recommend.

OMG!...I love Rhys!..definitely my favorite hero in this series so far. He's the tough, and oh so yummy, former Delta Force operative who never cracks under pressure...keeps his game face on not matter the circumstance, which is what his fellow soldiers admired about him but it also made it seem to others that he had no emotions. Enter Nev...the female doctor who Rhys was sent in to rescue from Iraqi terrorists in No Turning Back, and the first women to finally break through that armor of steel ...more

Relentless is an action packed, emotional roller coaster, complete with hotter than hades lovin', a determined fiesty heroine, a strong sexy hero and a close knit secondary cast.

Rhys Sinclair is the epitome of strong, silent type. His legendary iron clad control is unshakable, until he meets sweet, smart, sexy, feisty Neveah, the he proves true the old saying "The bigger they are, the harder they fall.". Neveah has survived the unimaginable at the hands

Five great big stars! Five + stars! I'd add a bonus star if I could!

This book was so amazingly good! I loved both Rhys and Neveah, but especially Rhys! He is my absolutely favorite type of hero, the wounded tough guy. All tough and hard on the outside, but all soft and gooey on the inside, if only you can break through that shell. Oh my, did Nev ever break through that shell! The level of tension was really good too, almost too much and never giving you a break - it was a great ride! We got an u

Oh wow, this series just keeps getting better and better. I LOVED this story, it was SO GOOD! I must say that this is the first in the series where I actually LOVED the romance element. The suspense is a given, Kaylea Cross is awesome at writing suspense and the story wasn’t lacking in the least in that department. But Rhys and Nevea are the first couple that I actually rooted for! They were such a great couple (the best so far) – strong, resilient and together they were SCORCHING HOT! I also li ...more

5 stars.

I really wish I could commit and write awesome reviews for Relentless and Absolution (Suspense Series, #5), but I've just got no time!

I absolutely adore Kaylea Cross's suspense voice and clean writing style. It's always polished and not excessively technical but with fascinating storytelling and awesome characters. I loved Rhys and Neveah. Not as much as Bryn and Dec and Cover of Darkness - which is my absolute fave of this series - but Relentless is still a winner.

OHHHH...... This series just keep getting better and better!!
Rys and Neveah are GREAT together!

Rys breakdown at the end of the book was heartbreaking. I was glad He finally allowed himself to 'feel', and let go of all the bottled up emotions He's kept in constant control of since a young child. I was also glad that Ben (his twin) was there to witness it, and 'rub' him about it.

Neveah is ONE amazing character! Her strength, character, love and bluntness was exactly what Rys needed to heal and tr

Guh, what an amazing book! This is my favorite, favorite, favorite of the series so far!! This book is a little different than its predecessors. There is no non-stop action here, but the intensity of the emotion will blow you away. You absolutely MUST read Cover of Darkness and No Turning Back before attempting this one....no exceptions!

Rhys and Nev have both been through so much in the previous books, by the time we get to this one, the reader is dying for a break. Kaylea Cross gives us a bit o

Get ready for it.... HOLEEEE crap. I LOVE Rhys. I thought I loved Dec and Ben. I was mistaken I LOVE Rhys. Nev is a lucky woman! I cruised through this one and now I find myself starting the last book of the series and I'm sad. The sexytimes in this one were INCREDIBLE.

I loved the two main characters in this book. They were smart, skilled and talented. They were believable and very likable. They didn't have much witty conversations but they still had great chemistry. Their relationship was the only part of the story I enjoyed.

I wasn't in love with the plot of the story, it dragged too much for my liking. I don't like reading about terrorism--that might be my main reason for not liking the plot? I can easily see how someone else would enjoy the plot though so

Another good book from Kaylea Cross

I enjoyed this instalment of the series. I like how the stories continue from where the last one left off but provide enough information that you don't have to read the whole series to understand what's happening. I can't wait to find out how the series comes to an end.

'Relentless' is the second book in Kaylea Cross's suspense series that I have read. Having picked up 'No Turning Back', book number three in the series, earlier in the year. Kaylea Cross is becoming one of my favorite authors with her romantic suspense books. In this story, Luke’s son was getting married (Bryn would attend) in the same place that Neveah was speaking at a physician’s conference. Tehrazzi knew this and felt he could right all of his wrongs by taking out all of them at the wedding. He did not count on himself not being able to attend to do the honors and had to leave things up to others. Luke understands the threat and ask Declan, Ben, Rhys and his fri ...more

Kaylea Cross writes books that everyone should be reading

There are physical injuries as well as psychological ones that either cripple you or make you stronger. Rhys Sinclair is a former Delta Force member, survivor of childhood neglect and one near fatal injuries received during a particularly bad mission. He had risen above what would break other men and knows how to move on with life and keep pursing what he wants. Right now he is chasing after the beautiful and strong Doctor Neveah Adams, th

This was my first book in this series (yes, I'm totally aware this is the fourth book in the series) and my second book by Kaylea Cross. I have already read Extinguished from Titanium series and enjoyed it but I prefer this one.

Kaylea Cross is definitely good in writing her sex scenes both hot and sensual. I would even say that she writes one of the best sex scenes of many authors I read. They are full of passions and emotions without being sappy. Rhys actually cries during on of them and it doe

Relentless brings up back to Vancouver where the story started for the wedding of Rayne, Luke's son.
Since Luke needs to make sure Tehrazzi will not interfere with the wedding he bring into the security detail Dec, Ban and Rhys.

Rhys was not fully recovered after his close encounter to death in Afghanistan but when he heard Nev was in Vancouver and in need of protection he signed up for Luke's team.

Georgie’s Review

Rhys Sinclair is a Delta Force Operative on a mission in Afghanistan to save a group of American doctors being held prisoner by the leader of a terrorist group. He comes across Dr. Neveah Adams, huddled over the body of an injured co-worker, and after rescuing them is severely injured when his vehicle explodes, witnessed by Dr. Adams. Galvanized into action, she helps save him from the burning wreckage and all are air lifted to the hospital.

This book was a pleasant surprise. It

Rhys Sinclair had a traumatic brain injury in No Turning Back (Book 4) thanks to trauma surgeon Neveah Adams. Rhys can't get Neveah out of his mind. When he finds out that a threat has been made against her life, he agrees to be her security for a conference.

Rhys is a character women will love and Neveah is a strong woman. Both of these characters suffered physical obstacles and we get to watch them overcome those obstacles. I found that I realized who the threat to Neveah was before it was reve

What I liked so much about the book, aside from a storyline itself, was the hero and heroine. They are both such strong, likeable characters. Rhys and Neveah are desperately coping with the horrors from their pasts. All of it quite horrific indeed, but they don't let that destroy the connection and growing love they have found in each other.

Rhys was one of those tortured souls that had been wounded in action to the max degree. His character is extremely remote and he's one of those "men of few w

Kaylea Cross writes suspense that keeps me on the edge. The action in it self is sharp as knife, I'm literally biting my nails, on the edge of my seat, the tale so vivid that I feel like I'm there myself. The psychological tension, the build up keeps me hooked to the story.
The characters, even though true alpha males and independent, professional, kick-ass women, are not perfect. They are human, with flaws and weaknesses. But despite them, or because of them, they find a way to each others hear

Wow. The worst thing about this book is that it ended. Apart from that I loved every thing about it. Nev and Rhys were such interesting characters and watching them develop both personally and in their relationship was riveting. Especially in their struggle to come to terms with the physical and psychological ordeals that they have gone through. There were some great candid conversations between them. Yes Rhys is a sexy alpha male but Nev is no soppy heroine - she is sexy, tough, independent and ...more

“Ben didn't disappoint. "See? You lost it and lived to tell about it." His voice dropped to a conspiratorial whisper. "You even survived a man hug." He rounded his eyes in feigned astonishment.
Wiping at his puffy eyes with his fingers, a watery laugh escaped him. "You always were an affectionate little shit.”
