My son (5yrs) enjoyed reading this book out loud to me. He said that it was amazing how the dinosaurs came to life. He also like how the Super Friends took care of the dinosaurs and became their friends. As a parent, I enjoyed this book because it was a good challenge for him. It was long enough to keep him interested, and the sentenaces were short enough so he did not get frustrated. This book is a Level 2 book in the Step Into Reading series.

My nephew loved this book. I had a few other stories to read to the kids tonight, but not in my nephew's opinion. T. Rex Trouble was the *only* book I had in my book bag tonight! I read the story to him, and he just beamed the entire way through! When we were done, he exclaimed, "THAT WAS SO COOL!!" I handed the book to him, and he looked at all of the pictures, and then I heard him "reading" the book to himself. He asked me to read T. Rex Trouble to him a second time, but my voice is a little ...more

The Super Friends - Batman, Superman, The Green Lantern, etc. - are called in when some dinosaurs, aided by Lex Luthor, begin to wreak havoc on downtown Metropolis. The Super Friends and the dinosaurs become friends, and the Super Friends then build a home for the dinosaurs, which basically resembles a zoo. As silly as this book is, it’s 100% perfect for all the four-year-old boys who come in to my library asking for superhero books - and dinosaur books! I’m a little uncertain as to how putting ...more

The absolute ridiculousness of this book forces me to rate it higher. It has somehow become more amusing the more I read it. Lex Luther uses super foam to turn fossils into living dinosaurs which rampage the city leaving Lex able to steal all the money. The best line, "The Super Friends have made friends with the dinosaurs!" Side note: I still can't get behind these early reader books that are early readers due to less words per page versus easier words to read. I somehow doubt "pteranodon" is a ...more

I recently purchased this book in a collection for my 6 year old son. He loves it.

Dinosaur fossils are on parade and Lex Luthor sprays them with super foam, which brings them to life. Flash sees what is going on and calls on his Super Friends for help. While the dinosaurs are scaring the towns people, Lex takes their money and valuables. Batman, Green Lantern, and Superman arrive to help the Flash. The Super Friends capture Lex and then build a home for the dinosaurs to live. My son needed some
Skye and I enjoyed reading this book together. Skye has been getting into super heroes lately and I think these younger version characters are great for early elementary school age. The violence is minimal and I like that all the different super heroes are working together.
