Gog's unique take on Superman ACTUALLY makes sense, and we never learn for sure that he's wrong.
The introduction of Hypertime to the DCU was handled really well, and fits sensibly with current understandings of quantum physics. Waid really did his research, and crafted things in such an amazing manner - he even put in a clause to justify retcons in the future!
Dazzling, great, amazing.
The sequel is definitely a bit lacking as compared to the original, but still worth the read.
