This book mixes fact and fiction as it gives you the best way to deal with a vampire, what to do if you see a U.F.O., how to develop your powers of ESP, and so on. I liked the informative "fact" part of the book. For example, it tells you that leprechauns originally wore red, not green, and that two multi-headed dragons in mythology are the nine-headed Hydra and the eight-headed Yamata no Orochi. This book is not too scary, just fun.

okay not the most intellectual book i've read, but after reading relatively depressing ya novels, i need a break. what fun, every page i read reminded me of movies that i wanted to stop reading and watch. everything from dracula to ghostbusters to close encounters to lord of the rings. quick and fun!
