Read this in a freshman orientation course at Mount St. Mary's College in Los Angeles. Yes, I'm old and it was pre-Google. But, I enjoyed it and frequently used it as a reference. I have bought it for many of my students as high school graduation gifts.
I got this as a high-school graduation present. So many books your get as gifts end up on a shelf untouched. Or as you pack to head to college get left behind. But this is one that I decided to bring with me. I was really glad that I did. It ended up being pretty useful, having some good advice, and information.

If you're headed to a grad party, consider this as a gift idea.
