Another 5 star book

Bankroll Squad by author David Weaver is a great book. I couldn't put the book down. Reading this book you will be able to feel the emotions of each character. Looking forward to reading more from Mr. Weaver

The storyline was very good. Bankroll Squad consists of a crew members with college education and street smarts. They rule the streets and are well known in the streets. The women in the squad are ride or die for everything they stand for. Their leader married a white woman

I read this book due to the ratings as well as my friend recommending it to me. I will start by saying the book is VERY unrealistic...but then again, that's why it's fiction, right? Anyways, due to it being so unrealistic, it was kind of hard for me really feel the characters and try to relate to what they went thru. I will say one thing, this book is non-stop drama. You never know what's going to happen next. It was so much drama that I actually got bored with some parts that DIDN'T have any dr ...more

Wow, the publisher... wow. Maybe I should start a Rich, Smart & White publishing company? I wonder how many people that would alienate?
I may not read this. Just wanted to comment for the time being. Keep the racism going guys! Kudos!

I won't read this and I certainly won't buy it and put my money into this author and publishers hands. Apparently I'm more of a stickler for this sort of racist bullshit than some others. So be it.

This is my first book by this author, but based on a recommendation of a book club that I am involved in I decided to take a chance. The story revolves around Malcolm a drug kingpin and his band of merry men and women. Malcolm fed up with the antics and jealousy of his girlfriend Kayla meets and married the proverbial "white chick" who at first appears to be down for her man. Kayla who is still very much in love with Malcolm makes attempts to seduce him back into his arms all the while conductin ...more

I purchased this book on my Kindle through recomendations and have to say that Author David Weaver has now become my Favorite author! I could not put this book down once I started reading it! The story takes us into the world of the Bankroll Squad and the lives of those who have created this empire! We meet Malcolm the main brains of this operation and his journey through life where he encounters true love, the loss of love, betrayal, honor, life and death! Unlike many urban fiction novels, this ...more
" Bankroll Squad" was my first read by David Weaver. I've had this since July 1st 2011. I kept pushing it back, saying I would get to it.When I finally decided to read it, after hearing all the great reviews, I couldn't believe I hadn't read it sooner. The story grabs you from the beginning and the characters are believable. It centers around Malcolm, a sexy Ga State University graduate, who is looking for nothing more than money, power, and respect. After entering the drug game,he and his crew, T ...more
I think that this book would have been ten times better had it not been rushed....I mean I do not know what else to say other than that.....

Waste of time

Written like an eighth grade story for a term paper. Tiring. All over the place. Save yourself the bother of even trying to read this "book".

I loved this book by David Weaver so much that I went out and bought the trilogy IMMEDIATELY after finishing this one!! It's suspenseful, it's exciting, and it has you rooting for the main characters in the book to prevail! I am recommending this book to everyone that I know. It's a real page turner from beginning to end. #LovedIt
I love this book! I had been seeing it for a while and put off reading it thinking it wouldn't hold my interest. I decided to purchase it to see what it was all about! I am so glad I did! I was TOTALLY wrong! I loved all the characters I was supposed to and despised all the ones I should have! It was a page turner. I bought 2 and 3 just in case it was as good as expected and I am glad it was!! 5 stars!

This story was fresh and fast paced! This was my first book by Mr. Weaver and he did his thing in it. I was instantly attracted to Kyla's character do to the fact that she loved Malcolm and would do anything for him, even when he didn't return that love!!! Kyla is the epitome of ride and die and she went all out for her love!

Malcolm, Kyla, Jennifer, Catfish, Pam...these characters are the most. The Bankroll Squad is the book that reeled me in to this author. He is one of the best in the entire industry. Well written. Once I picked up I kept going. 4 hrs later. I wanted more.
I didn't care for this book. Not only were the grammar and diction horrible, but the plot was underdeveloped and seemed a little far-fetched. It struck me as something a teenager would write while dreaming of being a big-time 'baller' someday.

Absolutely loved this story! Great read....I love Malcolm!
Although I found the book a little "scattered", I do intend to read the second book at some point. This author needs to find a better editor because the grammatical errors were plentiful.
fast pace very entertaining, david weaver, weaves the story like the finest seamstress threads clothes.the story never gets dull and the character ways and action are on full display****

“Well… Five… I just wanted to say rest in peace. To me you are a dead man… I am ashamed that I am related to you. I am ashamed that we have the same bloodline, it is obvious that yours contains a defect in the structure. I’m going to endure the punishment for this gun just because I made the mistake of hanging with a lame. But I swear to God on everything I ever loved… you better change your last fucking name as soon as possible. You will never in your life again be referred to as Powers! Change that shit, or I will kill you with my bare hands the first chance I get. Disconnect yourself bitch!” 5 likes
