It has a pretty clear bias for Rebecca Nurse and against Reverend Parris but that is evident when you look at anything else relating to them. It's a short read (I read it on the flight back from Boston to Detroit) but it was worth the $8 I paid for it at the Rebecca Nurse Homestead in Danvers. If you are interested in the history of the Salem Witch Trials, it is worth it. Not much on drama or citations but it makes up for it in being a unique book.

I picked up this at the Rebecca Nurse Homestead in Danvers, Massachusetts. During the last year, I learned that Rebecca was my great*8 grandmother. Since she was one of the victims of the Salem witch delusion, I wanted to learn more about her.

Tapley's book is a short overview of the events. It doesn't go into much detail but it is a decent overview. He is clearly very sympathetic to Rebecca's plight and occasionally goes beyond reporting history to drawing conclusions that he sometimes lacks the
