I picked up this at the Rebecca Nurse Homestead in Danvers, Massachusetts. During the last year, I learned that Rebecca was my great*8 grandmother. Since she was one of the victims of the Salem witch delusion, I wanted to learn more about her.

Tapley's book is a short overview of the events. It doesn't go into much detail but it is a decent overview. He is clearly very sympathetic to Rebecca's plight and occasionally goes beyond reporting history to drawing conclusions that he sometimes lacks the...more
