Call Me Ishmael

Recommends it for: Going to Rome. Been to the Borghese. Interested in art and the 17th century.
This is written more in prose than bullet point. That’s a little different than your typical gallery guide.

If you have been or are going to the Borghese, you want to read through this. It’s short, but covers the major topics, giving you an understanding of this villa’s evolution and current meaning.

If you going to Rome there’s plenty to see, the Borghese is first on the list of “Must See”. Even before some of the more common “Must See” sights.
