Very useful compendium of information for a new parrot person. I found it helpful in a variety of practical ways - from understanding their health needs, to interpreting body language and interacting effectively with my baby birds. It's also useful in understanding the differences between various types of parrots so that you can choose the right bird for your household. Ideally you'd this book BEFORE obtaining your first bird.
