I picked up this book before I started taking an adult ballet class at a community center, and it was surprisingly thorough and accurate about what to wear, what to expect, etc. Recommended if you're starting ballet as an adult without much background.
This book is a great primer for any adult who's looking for information on beginning ballet during their adult years. Great explainations on what to expect, wear, how to do basic poses (including pictures) and directory of schools/resources.
