My first introduction to the writing of Miralee Ferrell was through another Love Finds You novel, Love Finds You in Bridal Veil, Oregon. I have no however read Love Finds You in Last Chance, CA which for some purposes could be considered a prequel this this novel. However it is my understanding they stand alone, and reading this one first just reiterates a desire to snatch up the other one as soon as I get the chance. Honestly right now I have a bunch of books in my TBR pile, but when this one a...more

I've mentioned before, that I don't particularly care for historical chicklits, but I absolutely loved this book.

It follows the story of Christy Grey (from Ms. Ferrell's book Love Finds You in Last Chance, California), as she moves back to Tombstone to help her family. I felt this book was well written, and intriguing...who wouldn't love to learn more about Tombstone...it has such a rough history that is romanticized.

I loved how Ms. Ferrell researched this city and worked in real events...this r...more

Miralee Ferrell quickly became one of my favorite authors, last year, when I read her novel Love Finds You in Bridal Veil Oregon. Her writing style and unique characters quickly worked there way into my heart. I then had the pleasure of reviewing her contemporary fiction novels Finding Jeena and The Other Daughter, as well as another Love Finds You book (Love Finds You in Last Chance California). I've been hooked ever since and was so pleased to have the opportunity to read and review Love Finds...more

I was thrilled when I opened up this book! It is somewhat of a continuation of Love Finds You In Last Chance California, though can be read alone ~ I didn't feel like I was missing any details in this book when I read it. But, that being said, I was super excited to read it when I realized it was continuing on with a character from the previous book! So if you haven't read Love Finds You In Last Chance California you might want to give it a whirl first!

Miralee weaves a fabulous love story - one...more

Unfortunately, this book wasn't that great until the last 75 pages or so. It was not well planned out and was a finicky story.

Christy is leaving Last Chance (which I read the book for that one and liked). Her brother informed her that her mama was sick and he couldn't take care of her that well. On her way out there is a hold up and she is shot. She meets a man in Tombstone named Nevada who has some history of being on the run and Christy also has some history she hopes never comes up. The two o...more

Christy Grey receives a message from her brother that he needs her help. Having lost a connection with her family, she feels drawn to returning home and fixing that. Unfortunately, her trip to Tombstone, Arizona goes awry when the stagecoach is robbed. What she finds when she arrives in Tombstone is definitely not what she expected either. The relationship with her mom and her brother is rather shaky, but she is determined to change that.

Nevada King is a man who wants to change his life around...more

This book is a direct follow-up to Love Finds You in Last Chance, California, though nothing on the book jacket indicated that fact. It actually really irritated me that it wasn't mentioned, as I had to go and read Last Chance before I started this one. When I finally got to this book, I found it dragged just as much as Last Chance did. The story with Nevada and Christy was not enough to keep my interest, though the historical figures peppered throughout the book was enough to keep my interest g...more

This is the first Old West romance I've read, and I picked a good one to start with! Movies set in Tombstone always entertained me, so the cover of Miralee Ferrell's novel attracted me right away. Then, not only did she write an entertaining story with characters I grew to love, she included author's notes that connect the story with her research of the real history of Tombstone.

alright I just received this book the other day and debated over waiting to read it till I read the last chance California book but decided to go ahead and start this well I have been an avid reader since I was a child and very few books have ever caught my attention and held it to where I couldn't put it down and I have to say this book just joined that rare club. I am so in love with the characters and the fact that so much of true history of an ara that has always fascinated me was used in th...more

This book had me from page one. Miralee really knows how to write a book I have not found one yet that I have not liked. Love finds you is a series but there is no need to read them in order. every story is unique in its own way Christie Grey and Nevada King are the two main characters in this book. Nevada is a ex outlaw and Christie Grey has come to tombstone to care for her sick mother. it's truly a wonderful love story a big page turner for me. I am looking forward to reading more of your boo...more

Fun to read and also highly educational. Well put together plot and all of the characters were knit together is ways that the reader has to keep reading to understand it. Worth reading.

This is defiantly a 5 star book. It keeps you on edge, it's sprinkled with romance, and it's in the Wild West. What more could u want? So on a rainy day, get your favorite drink, grab a blanket, curl up and enjoy.

Perfect ending! Happy sigh!

I read Love Finds You in Last Chance, CA and loved it. Miralee Ferrell had a secondary character in that book I wanted her to write a story about and she did in Love Finds You in Tombstone, AZ. It is Christy Grey's story. She isn't your usual heroine but she is a complex, interesting character. Nevada King was a great match for Christy. You won't be disappointed if you read this book. I feel like I was walking the streets of Tombstone.

Loved this story by Miralee Ferrell. I had the pleasure of visiting Tombstone, AZ two years ago and Mrs. Ferrell did an excellent job bringing the town to life before my eyes. It's a good western. Both Nevada, the hero, and Christy, the heroine, are likable characters fighting very real battles, both spiritual and physical. A great story that I would recommend to any lover of historical romance.

Thanks to the author's suggestion, I bought this book to read. I have already read on of her other books. Looking forward to this one. Really liked this book. Actually visited Tombstone when I lived in Tucson. Great family trip to take!

This was a fun book to read. The plot thickened somewhat after the middle. The author, Miralee Ferrell, researched Tombstone AZ well and added a good fiction to non-fiction.
Roberta
good book...kind of a "light weight" romance but that's OK with me...it incorporated some of Tombstone's historic figures/ places (Wyatt Earp/ OK Corall)which I liked...
