I read the short stories for a class in college when I was an English major. The stories that are "The Gatsby Cluster" are really my favorites because I really liked The Great Gatsby so much. The short stories really show the genius that was F. Scott Fitzgerald.

I wanted to read The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons before the movie is released. I saw the preview recently, and wow -- while I'm not a Brad Pitt fan, the movie looks great & really touching. I also just like Scott's writing (though most of it was written by Zelda...*sigh*).

Precise and engaging prose. The stories have a nice early 20th century feeling, of both the optimism and despair of the era. Favorite story so far I guess must be "The Cut-Glass Bowl", though I'm still only 1/3 into the collection.
