The Ulysses Guide to the Los Angeles River is an imaginative and beautiful book. Even the outside cover is beautifully designed and cleverly made to look aged. The information about the LA River is so interesting. I loved the photographs and the original art. There are wonderful stories that tell the history of this Southern California landmark that you would not read in a traditional history book. I read it from cover to cover and was pleasantly surprised at how well it held my attention. I've ...more
