i enjoyed this story. (it wasn't what i thought it was going to be though. i thought it was going to be about the fourth friend from her other three books.) ms. poppen, i have to say has been a delight to read because out of the many regenacy romances i have read her books still managed to introduce me to many new vocabulary. i can't wait for her next book!!

This book is called Newport Summer and I was looking for a book that takes place in the summer for a reading challenge so I picked it up.
This is your basic romance story, the characters are likeable enough. It's fairly predictable, nothing wrong with it.
The heroine got on my nerves with her stupid tunnel vision of what she wanted, even when the hero is all but begging her to give him a chance. She was presented as a good, kind person but her unbending attitude was irritating.

I liked this book. It was cute. I like the way Nikki Poppen writes, and this book was no exception.
