Chloe’s boss is a typical rock star with the bad habits to go along with his attitude. Now he has enlisted Chloe to help him with his last vice that he is trying to eliminate, and his solution to the cravings and the bad moods he is going through to stop smoking is for Chloe be available for sex anytime things start to get rough for him. Chloe can’t believe James is trying to enlist her to help him, this is way too close for comfort for her because she has hidden feeling that no one knows of and ...more
2.5 Stars! Although a strange premise, One Last Vice was a steamy, short read.

Chloe has worked for her boss for 10 years, and been secretly in love with him almost the whole time. James is your typical rockstar with his problems (sex, drugs, rock 'n roll). He has been trying to quit all his vices without backsliding and going will-nill into a bender. He's asked his faithful, long time employee, Chloe, for help to quit smoking. To handle his craving, he need Chloe to be available to slee

One Last Vice is another example of a story toward which I'm drawn. James, a popular and successful musician, asks his PA, Chloe, for a very personal favor in effort to help him quit smoking. James has given up on patches and gum as a substitute for his nicotine fix, and believes the only real way to quit for good would be a live-in booty call. Chloe fits the bill; she's his assistant, they have been friends for years, and even if their relationship has never been sexual, he's confident she's th ...more

this was a fun quick read about Jame's and Chloe. James loves Chloe but doesn't think she thinks of him as anything but her boss, so he cooks up a story about needing sexual release because he's quitting smoking and the craving can only be helped with sex and since he's known Chloe for 10 years he can trust her. Chloe agree's because she's loved James for 10 years and wants to help but thinks James only picked her because she's there and convenient and that he could never love someone who looks ...more

I don't remember when I read this, but it was over the top. Chloe is completely gullible.

Trying to give up smoking, this rocker uses his assitant for sex as an alternative to smoking. But, he secretly loves her and is going to use sex to convince his voluptous assistant that he really loves her. Reading this book was an hour of my life that I can't get back. Yikes!

Emma Hillman has been writing stories in her head ever since she can remember. When the Internet started and she realized she could type them up and share them with the world, she knew she'd found her calling.

These days she divides her days between a full-time job, her lovely daughter, a cat who meows at 6am every day for his breakfast, and a dog who chases after flies.
