Well, I didn't do as the book asked and read these stories quietly to myself instead of aloud to my cat. I still thought they were adorable and very true to cat-like behavior. It's probably a good thing I didn't read this aloud to my cat, because I wouldn't want to give him any ideas.
Also, a note on the cover: I love how "meta" it is. A cat staring at book which has the same cover as the book he's on. Whoa.

Cute little book my sister shared with us this Christmas -- a family favorite of theirs which we somehow missed! My nephew used to enjoy reading these to his cat so I have it on the highest authority that they really DO WORK! ;) Clever and fun for feline lovers of all ages.

An excellent twist--great for an early independent reader who's a cat lover, but heck, I loved it too. Cat psychology in easy words for the win! heh heh heh. Owned by my sister the children's librarian, so I don't need a copy.

These are fun stories to read to your cat. It's a bit silly, but they are good tales of kitty antics, ones that most cat owners can relate to. And our girls thought they were cute, even if we couldn't convince our cat to listen to them.

I couldn't resist reading this to the cats. The stories were cute. I especially liked the one about eating the bug. There is a sequel as well as ones made for reading to dogs.

This is a really cute book, even if our kitty got up halfway through "The Yummy Bug." he came back and we finished the story.
