4 Tongued Tied Stars!!

This is a short book I picked up as a kindle freebie it's only about 140 pages or so but, oooh so sweet, hot, and fun!!

Scott O'Callaghan is a former Marine sniper who has returned home. Scott grew up on the wrong side of the tracks with an abusive alcoholic father and was on the road to destruction until he joined the Marines. Now he's home and the local mechanic having opened his own garage. He has a serious crush on his neighbor Michaela but gets tongued tied whenever s

This is the story of Michaela and Scott. They are neighbors that are attracted to each other and watch each other but don't get passed a few hellos. That changes when the Sheriff harasses Scott because he thinks Scott is no good and thinks he commited a crime but Michaela provides an alibli for him. This gives them a chance to get farther than hello and so begins their relationship.

I liked it but wasn't one a favorite. It had some steam and some sweet moments but I really wish I got to see them

3.25 stars. Super short but very hot:Di wish it was A little longer and had an epilogue. Not too much plot to this more physical but enjoyable!

safety: both weren't virgins. H didn't seem like a manwhore. I think both had relationships in the past but nothing is really discussed. No mention of using condoms before but I think they both have used them and do with each other. no mention of oral skills, although H does mention liking pleauring women in the past but nothing like it is with h. whateve

Tempting Alibi is a short story about two neighbours that fall in love. I really liked both main characters, especially Scott. He is so sweet, thoughtful and protective. Lov

Super short read about neighbors falling in love.

The hero was from the 'wrong side of the tracks' and a little shy. It was refreshing to read about a quiet hero, rather than the cocky-as-hell heros that are more common in romance novels. The novella is low on the plot and emotional aspect of the relationship and heavy on the physical side. Even though I liked the novella, I would've liked it even more if it was a little longer. Not as a full length novel, but at least around 100 pages. And an e

Loved the chemistry between these two characters. Plus the hero's former military, so that already put points in his favor before I even started the book. This author has a very smooth, distinctive voice that's so enjoyable to read. Keep up the great work Savannah!

Michaela and Scott have barely spoken to each other, even though they've been neighbors for months now. But when Michaela's car needs some work, she takes it to Scott's garage. While she's there the sheriff comes in and asks Scott where he was the night before. Michaela pipes up and tells the sheriff that Scott was with her. Later that day, Scott knocks on her door to say thank you and the relationship builds quickly from the

A very readable love story about two people who live next door to one another, who are lonely, yet who can't seem to connect. When they do, they discover their attraction is stronger than the social and class distinctions that separate them. It is a really nice novella and one that I will definitely re-read.

Quick read. Too much sex not enough relationship development between H and h. Not sure why the author felt the need to add a subplot in this book. She should've stuck with working on the H and h's relationship out of bed!

This book is an excellent example of why I like romance novels - the escape into someone else's life, the strong, silent hero you love to adore and wish you had one of your own, a smart heroine you can relate to. Savannah Stuart/Katie Reus is on my must-read list. Awesome-sauce all around.
Too short for me! ;) It was really good and super HOT. For the length, I think the development was pretty good.

This was a quick read..but good. Loved Michaela & Scott....Scott who grew up as the town bad boy from the wrong side of the street was back from being in the war for over 6 years, he moved back opened a Mechanic Shop and moved in next door to Michaela. She had been secretly watching him from afar, but did not know how to approach him. He liked her a lot and did not know how to even talk to her. She gave him an alibi for something he was accused of and they began a relationship from there!!!

Well, if this book didn't hit all the right spots, I don't know what will!

I'm usually not one for short stories. I find them incomplete teasers that fail to satisfy me - though I have stumbled upon some examples that are the exceptions to this rule. It's often impossible - at least IMHO - to develop a character - more so, two of them - in a plot and background that won't make me feel like I'm being cheated. Like I said, there are those exceptions that are more than worth the little time it will
Tempting Alibi by Savannah Stuart is my first book by the author. I requested for this title on Netgalley because of the tattooed hotness gracing the cover of this novella. Nothing more, nothing less. And turned out I made the right choice by judging the book by its cover in this instance. Tempting Alibi delivered a hot mess of a read that I couldn’t get enough of.

Tempting Alibi was a short and sweetly sexy story about a guy from the wrong side of the tracks meeting a girl from the right one. As a mechanic and seemingly nice guy, Scott is falsely accused by the local sheriff of committing a crime. After being provided with an alibi by his neighbor and secret obsession, Michaela Miller, Scott and Michaela begin a relationship that causes both of them to

Michaela Miller has been lusting after her next door neighbor since he moved in seven months before. She watches him jog in the mornings and wants nothing more than to strip him naked and have her way with him. Scott O’Callaghan spent eight years in the marines and has moved back home and opened an auto body shop. He has noticed Michaela from the moment they met but he doesn’t think she would be interested in him since she comes from a family with money and his was poor. But when Michaela steps ...more

"Tempting Alibi" is a short but sexy read that I enjoyed but wanted more from. The reason Scott acts they way he does around Michaela is adorable but in a sexy and manly way. Other reviewers have stated that ending was abrupt and I agree. When I finished the book I literally said to myself "That's it? That's how it ends?" Either way I enjoyed the chemistry between Scott & Michaela and thought their love scenes were smokin' hot.

My take on the synopsis:

This book was an easy fun read. It was the story of the good girl in town that everybody loves and protects and the bad boy that lives next door. The thing that nobody knows it that Michaela has huge crush on Scott. Everybody seems to be judging Scott even though he is running a legitement car repair business.

When the Michaela brings her car in for some car repairs. At the same time the sheriff shows up at Scotts door accusing him of breaking in at a another local car repair shop owned by a fam

She’s from a well-respected family. He’s from the wrong side of the tracks. Seven months ago, they became neighbors, but it takes one case of false accusation to bring them together.

Tempting Alibi starts off sizzling and doesn’t cool down. From the beginning, tension ripples between the two protagonists, Michaela and Scott. She’s been interested in him since he moved in next door, but a shaky introduction leaves her with little nothing but the occasional admiring glimpse during his morning jogs.

This story was sweet. There wasn't much action within the first few pages, but after that, the book certainly picked up speed.

Scott tends to be quiet. He's a former Marine sniper. He's used to being on his own and not having to talk much. He's owns and runs a respectable auto body shop. He's moved on from the past with his father being a drunk. Scott has a crush on Michaela, but he gets tongue tied around her. He can barely hold a conversation or say more than five words to her at a time.

This was a very short read and I'm totally surprised by just how much passion the author managed to imbue it with! Ms Stuart can certainly tell a story and whilst this is more character than plot driven I don't feel it suffers for it.
Scott is a tough guy who has returned to his home town to rebuild his life. He's not an arrogant he man though and I found him to be quite sensitive and he surprised me. He has his eye on his neighbour Michaela but doesn't want to rush things but he has no idea that

This contemporary novella is quick erotically charged HEA romance. From different worlds, Scott keeps his attraction for his next door neighbor to himself, until she provides an unexpected alibi when the sheriff accuses him of a crime. Determined to find out why, he puts himself danger of losing something he never considered…his heart.

This fast paced and smooth flowing plot stimulates the senses and emotions of the reader with a lot of red hot passion and romance. The author describes the scenes

This standalone novella is a quick and easy read. Scott and Michaela have been neighbors at the lake near town for months. She has watched him on his morning runs and workouts on his deck. He has seen her coming up from the lake, then sunning on her deck in her bikini. Other than when she took him cookies when he moved in, they haven't really spoken, though, until she takes her car into his shop for service. While she's there the sheriff comes in and accuses Scott of breaking into his compe

This story was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review by NetGalley.

Michaela Miller likes to sit on her back porch and watch her neighbor Scott O’Callaghan exercise. Her favorite is the chin ups. He excels at those. One day, while in town the sheriff is giving Scott a hard time. He is trying to pin a robbery on him because he grew up on the wrong side of the tracks so Michaela volunteers an alibi for him. She was watching him for part of the time in question.
