Stunning pictures... the recipes are definitely not for amateurs. most of the desserts have multiple complex components. The recipes are very modern and have fresh, interesting flavor combos.

I absolutely love this book. This book changed my view on the art of creating desserts. She made my view on pastry much more fun and interesting ! I learned that pastry isn't just about sugar, butter, chocolate, and flour. THERE'S SO MANY INGREDIENTS OUT THERE TO EXPERIMENT WITH !

Another great book to pick up from the library and dream in. I keep checking it out, i need to just break down and buy it. A little bit of everything - cookies, cakes and plated desserts. The illustrations and photographs alone are worth a read.

she's a delight and all the recipes in here are amazing. more importantly, the focus is really on giving the reader the techniques and inspiration to create their own desserts.
